Bolas do not actually work on the queen bee I threw 8 before I realized

They swarm around a hive that if you break open you'll find the queen that can be tamed

Couldn't tame until I used bug repellent

Even if you are able to approach it without Ghillie Armor, you you won’t be able to tame it. You MUST be under the affect of bug repellent. And Bug repellent is all you need. I just ran up to it and tamed it with a rare flower while wearing full Chitin Armor and bug Repellent. Used a Dire bear on a Quetzal platform saddle to destroy the nest

Use frog/toad to destroy hive then tame queen be careful not to hurt the queen.

After breaking the hive, throw Honey on the ground to keep the Queen in one spot instead of flying away

If a giant bee is encumbered outside of a base’s turret range, you can whistle attack this target with a spyglass and the minion bees serve as a soaker. Essentially, you can endlessly soak with this method as long as you keep whistling

Just use a blood-stalker walk up to the nest and destroy it but be careful and don’t spam take your time because you might kill the queen bee. Then get some extraordinary kibble and it should tame form one.

You guys! I was Arking when I saw weird crystals (they were orange, a cluster of three or four) it was closest to green obelisk and I went to the crystals to investigate, and I heard buzzing! Then all the sudden I am falling, and OH MY GOSH it was a giant bee hive, with other bee hives in it! I found the exit, and a dire bear. I tamed it, and harvested so much honey. The drones die once they go a certain distance from the hive or queen. To safely break the hive without a bear just go slightly out of the range they can travel and shoot with a crossbow.

You can place hives on water platforms. You just can't place them on floor if you cover the platform but the actual platform itself with nothing covering it works

You can find them in mobile but for some reason they are without nest.

I found two with no nest.

Run they knock you off your tame if you take honey or destroy the hive or if you see them in the wild they will not hesitate to kill you

Break the hive, use big repellent and feed the queen rare flowers. Pick up the queen and she turns into the hive to be placed.

Why is it that I find wild queen bees without the nest and they are smaller than normal.

You can build a box around some hives so you don't have to chase it.

In Ragnarok they are commonly found under rock bridges towards the blue obelisk!

For finding an "active" bee hive it seems to just be a case of chance encountering. Flying up to it you will hear buzzing this will indicate an active hive. From there you just break it to get access to the Queen... I am pretty certain this is the case. Note if you don't hear a distinct buzzing it will be unoccupied.

The structure hive that you place will get damaged over time, to repair simply destroy it and reform the hive; be sure to gather all resources from the hive before demolishing it. Rinse and repeat
