Stings will knock you off your mount and stun it. Can kill your tame quickly, so attack with caution. Bee corpses cannot be harvested.

On Crystal isles there is a cave full of worker bees and bears in the redwoods (They were passive when I went into the cave with my crystal Wyvern)

Careful in caves and tight areas, mesh detection is not your friend when using these bees

Wear ghillie suit, use bug repellent, bring rare flowers (6 to be safe), destroy the hive, and finally, get close enough to tame with rare flowers. (When destroying the hive, make sure to wear flak or better armor before you destroy the hive and kill the drones, then switch your gear to ghillie or you’ll be wasting your armor before you can even tame)

Pteranodon barrel roll attack is good for breaking the nest as for taming it's best to have a full set of ghillie then throw honey lay and lay down next to it and spam the interact key when it flies to it's honey.

Ghille suit, rare flowers, shoulder mount otter. Stay about 10 foundation lengths away from the hive and shoot until hive explodes. Giant bees will explode themselves before they get to you & otter will kill those that dont die first. When hive explodes, queen will be hovering...give her ichthyornis kibble or rare flowers to tame. Take to your camp and the hive will make honey, but DO NOT check for the honey without wearing a ghillie suit...still, you will start to lose health slowly if you stay too close to it for too long.

If you have a hive located directly next to a easily accessible/escapable water source , no piranhas preferably.

Here's how to get honey without taming.

Climb/walk up to hive , grab honey , drop/jump directly into water,

Swim about 2 to 4 Boulder lengths away (Underwater) drones can't attack and will retreat back to hive . Rinse&Repeat

Do this as many times as you need honey !!!

Use their preferred kibble you only need three for a max level!

If you do Dino Wipes that is why your bee Hives are empty they count as structures and do not despawn after dino wipe

Ive tamed about 100 bees now very easy if you gave a wyvern, you need to be well prepared though. Total of 3 bites and then walk backwards, as long as you have backed up quickly enough you should be far enough away from the queen to bite any attacking workers, wait till they finished attacking then dismount, keep a sword in your inventory just in case you get dismounted.

It say simple kibble but it preferred basic kibble. what is correct?

Easiest way to destroy the hive is two Chacoloriums (I definitely spelt that wrong) and using their rock throw, destroying the hive in ~5 hits. You can either run at it and spam "Y" (Xbox) or used a ghillie suit with bug repellent to get close to tame it calmly.

Always use a sword or a pike to kill the drones and don't bother with guns

Easiest way to break her hive is to use C4 ir rockets. If you dont have that you can melee it while croaching. Sword does well but a simple pick will do

Crouching to follow and going prone to feed helps along with ghille and bug repellent. When placing hive after taming it is free standing, if you place on a wall even though it will let you, you can’t access the inventory.

You can transfer these across servers if you break them out of their hives first. If you have their hives in you inventory it will not let you transfer. They HAVE to be in bee form.

All bees on official are lvl 5 and when tamed lvl 7. They don't gain any more lvls

In lostsland I find some near waterfall between two rock and under long bridge with two holes lat 55 lon 45 some where there in that square of the map.

Make the bees come out of the hive, then jump on the back of a griffin and do the dash attack thing to the hive. It instantly destroys it, making the queen bee come out very quickly.

I tamed one pretty quickly. Have a partner on a mount and they kill the hive and you follow the queen. I take a sword with me so when I feed the queen and she summons drones I use the sword on the drones and it makes easy kills of them. Then I continue to follow the queen. Be careful not to lose her though because I have lost many, especially when trying to tame by myself. I also use ghillie and bug repellant. Good luck.
