On extinction use the gasbag for the caves because you can fly over the Dinos and it can tank tons of damage plus a damage reduction from the saddle and an 80% damage reduction when full of air

If you're being raided by one of these, try to get to its head and shoot it, it will rapidly deflate and lose Oxygen and then be susceptible to turret damage. Get shredded!

The gasbag should be in the multi-passenger section

When they’re inflated the reduce dmg and with that torpor so when it says you need a certain amount of tranqs you actually need a lot more. Also just put some gates over it and it’s easy to tame

Gasbags is one of the best support tames in the game. It has great weight, is tanky, and when you level up speed, it can go very fast while flying. Not to mention but they are adorable. I suggest players get gasbags on both PVP and PVE. The only drawback is it does no damage and if you aren't careful you can kill it by falling to your death.

1. You do more torpor damage to it when it's deflated.

2.Best way to tame them is to have a friend on a frost owl freez them in play that dose two things. Keeps them from moving and also auto deflates them. Best way so far I have seen.

Freeze with a snow owl to stop it floating away

Requires much fewer shots than listed for deflated knockouts. Use an owl (to freeze and deflate) and a net gun and/or Dino gates to make it a very quick knockout.

Just net gun them and tranq until they turn sideways just be prepared for a fairly long wait to tame unless using superior kibble :)

Person who doesn't know were to find these they are every were in the wasteland and in genisis you find um near the radiation caves that's were you find them they spawn so dang fast to I think. Your welcome

Watch out for corrupt wyverns,megalania and anything small. You only wana learn that once

You can find them on extinction in the wastelands there’s pretty common and can find them in the lunar caves on genesis they are blue purple and that colors on genesis and kinda like wasteland colors on extinction if you can definitely tame it :D

They are good at taking shots from turrets they take less damage from things if inflated

Gasbags have a problem when "flying". The gas that leaves the gasbag eventually starts going straight up and ignores any horizontal movement. To avoid dying by this let go of the flying button and let it glide downwards. If it keeps going up, then parachute down or (I'm not sure if it's possible) cryopod it as you parachute down... it probably won't work but if it falls it shouldn't take much damage. Hope this helps!

How I knocked out a high level one in single player is I used my looked around the waste land with my poison wyvern level 120 (bean cosumer) . Found a highnlevel one grabbed it with the wyvern (press c on pc while flying)took it home. I put it in this small stone house and traped it in there got my level 225 equius in there and knocked it out after a while. If its trapped you can use any level of torpor inflicting creature as long as it won't kill it . By far the fastest way to knock is a high Melee basilisk which you don't even need to trap the gasbags with. But I don't most people have one of those as they take fertilized rock drake eggs to tame and I am still having trouble stealing one of those.

Another tip most dont even know that when the gas bag is inflated it take 80% reduced damage. And with a saddle that can add lets say 50 armor to it this thing becomes a super solar for any turrit tower you may encounter.also keep in mind you lose air with the amount of damage you take but you can continue to suck in air. I recommend living oxigen and health

These bad boys soak turrets easy just get a good saddle puff up and walk backwords to the turrets and boom

Good for draining any kinds of turrets if you breathe in whilst soaking on official look to get ones around 7k health for a good line

Note that it will take two to three times the recommended amount of tranqs for knockout (with crossbow at least, i assume the others as well)
