What are tips for gasbags? Tips and strategies for gasbags in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
If u are trying to tame one the fatter they get the higher lvl
Have 2 people have both shooting but one mainly focusing on where it goes
They don't do a lot of damage but are hard to tame because they just fart away
Has anyone tried sap, honey, or veggie cakes for taming the Gasbag? Not sure if this is where to put this, just an idea. Wiki says they're an omnivore but that could be wrong.
These guys may look squishy but they are actually pretty good I've only flown one and haven't tested it otherwise but they are pretty good flyers!
Silly Survivor
Like a equis it eats crops. Unlike a equis it can jump far. By the way a water bear is a Tardigrade
When knocking it u need an owl to put them in the trap n just keep freezing it when it tries to inflate so then u can knock it easier bc I tried knocking a lvl 30 n it took like 60 tranqs when it said 7
If you own a skiff, find a gasbag you want with a spy glass of course then when that’s done, bring the gasbag to a safe location and tranq it while picked.
Who knows the spawn command for this
If you’re a real man, you would tame it with berries
When taming use wood gateways and gates as well as a large bear trap to trap the gasbag in the gateways and use honey to lure it in
As they don’t have headshot multiplyers just shoot at the biggest part( better accuracy)
So A very determed me decided to slingshot a level 20... how hard could it be, right? WRONG. Darn rascal took 25 minutes, 9 slingshots, and like 400 rocks. Beefy bugger also took over FOUR HOURS to tame. Took like 150 mejos and maybe 300 narco berries. Moral of the story, use tranq arrows and aim for the head.
If you don't want them to take fall damage when they run out of gas unride them and wait until they fall down they won't take damage
Follow it with wooden spike traps. Place one in front of it, then quickly place the other two around it, encasing it. Don't worry, the spikes won't hurt it. Then place the wooden pillars next to it, along with a few thatch ceilings above it. Go from there. It won't be able to walk or fly away. Just be careful of surrounding Dino's.
If solo, use an Equus to kick them until they’re knocked out. Remember to kick in moderation or use something to watch its torpor, so it doesn’t lose taking effectiveness.
