Taming & KO Tips

How do I tame a gallimimus? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a gallimimus.
I used around 35 tranq arrow
Still this guy didn't knocked out
He was about to die
I left it
I don't understand how these guy get knocked out
Somebody tell me
Eating a rare flower and lead the galli to a trap don't work. The follow you for a little while but then after that they just run away from you and will not follow again no matter how many flowers you eat
If you are on a cluster or on Gen 2 craft a harpoon gun then craft a couple net things and find a galli just shoot it and it'll be down for 1 minute so it gives you tame to trap it or just shot it with tranqs
When I first started out I got this wooden trashy spear and I thought I was on top of the world the first creature I saw was that speedy boy and I thought it was just an overgrown lizard so I went up to it and hit it in the butt with me spear and it ran away I chased it for two seconds until I got eaten by that stupid T-rex and then I learned in the future that the dino literally is the most challenging game to knock out for me and the only other time I tried to do that was for a PURSUIT
Gallimimus….the oversized comps. Easier to tame by having a slower torpor drain and is not fussy. Compys have the highest torpor drain out of any creature even da giga. Gallis just have to bola since they’re te fastest land man and tranq(use tranq arrows) then feed some dimetrodon kibble(or crops or mejoberries)you can use narcoberries as the torpor raiser, but my most preferred tool to raise torpor is biotoxins, only produced by Cnidaria, yes those jellyfish.
Taming these is a pain, they always spawn in the most dangerous areas
I’d say it’s easiest to tame these guys after lvl 61, when you can get a Basilo saddle. Use the Basilo to get a lot of biotoxin and then trap the galli when it stops moving. A one by one by 2 fence trap should suffice. Then just shot the galli in the face with a longneck and there yah go.
Too bad there ain’t an aberrant Gallimimus if you play abber don’t waste time trying to find them.
Soooo it said that if you shoot a gallimimus with tranq arrows it will die. And it takes like only 5 in the head to knock a level 43 out though near death.
Built me a taming pen out of stone doorframes and a couple dinasoar gates to tame this. Dropped him in with my argentavis and closed the gate. Worked perfect. lvl 22 gallimimus took almost 70 narcos for me so come prepared
Want to tame thess guys but don't want to carry tatch, wood, stone foundation and walls? Den all u need to do is grab yourself 1 bola and three wooden billboards
First bola it den trap it using the billboards by a triangle shape one trapped u can place spikes around it to start knocking it out use tranq darts as rn I have killed 4 lv 280 by traq arrows

Sewing a lot of ppl having a hard time finding a lone one, that is not being murdered by predators. Well, I know where two good spots are. First, outside hidden lake, directly south outside, on the beach, in front of the little beach, around those rocks, usually one to three will spawn, but usually just two. Over near the ruins in redwoods, where the water fall is, there is ually about twelve, and very little terror birds, but look out for the bears. I have no problem taming, knocking out, and hunting them, just be cautious. And I advise using the biotoxin. Helps a lot. Thanks! Also, when looking for *any* creature, like at all, I advise using da frogs. They are very helpful.

Literally impossible to tame because of the fact it only spawns in places 50 million predators
I can’t keep a galli still for more than 2 seconds without a carno or a raptor or a terror bird charging it
I HAVE HAD AN EASIER TIME TAMING ALLOS THAN TAMING GALLIS
ITS MADNESS
So I was just trying to tame 1 when I shot it once it ran I recommend getting it trapped before trying to tame it also need at least 50 narcotics for like a level 10 so good luck
Never punch them as doing so will end up in killing instead of knocking out. Use a normal bow and tranqs.I barely tamed one qhich had only 15 hp left.
When you knock out your soon to be buddy, bring a stack of rockarrots and narcoberries. You can easily do this by growing them in a crop plot. After you knock it out feed it the carrots and occasionally feed it the narcoberries. The narcoberries don’t reset the taming meter and it does a good job in keeping them unconscious . Lucky taming!
As we know these dude wake up quick well it’s not as hard as you think to tame
Make a wall around it whith wooden billboards knock it out and when it gets to like 1/4 of torpor left feed it tons of narco berries like 300 the torpor will only increase for like 8 plus mins and just rinse and repeat you can do this whith all Dino’s since the narco berrie torpor slowly increases not quickly that’s why it’s recommended useing berries instead of narcotics on gigas
To be honest if you want to have your own pet jar jar binks, than tame it but, the only reason they are good is their speed.
Easy tame but get a butt load of narcotics
Higher levels are an easy tame, once you get it knocked out simply wait for the torpor to go almost all the way down and then pump it full of narcotics and camp the starve timer, you may have to give it a smaller dose of narcs near the end, but by waiting as long as possible to narc it you're buying piece of mind for most of the 20ish minutes it takes to tame
(This is a good start for Giga taming too)
