Huge pain to tame. I suggest making a 2x2 trap 2 high with a ramp, use rare flowers to aggro the Gali into chasing you into the trap.

You could also use just a bear trap but something else might trigger the trap because everything around you will get pissed at you.

Do not even try chasing these buggers, they will run at high speed and will usually run straight into the mouth of a hungry Rex.

Gallimimus are an annoying tame.They can be trapped with a bola, but due their low health, it is difficult to knock them out with tranq arrows without killing them, I recommend taking tranq darts instead which are unlocked around level 60. These work better as the deal more torpor, but much less damage, meaning you can knock them out without killing them now. The saddle also has 3 seats, which can be great if on multiplayer. For early game mobile players, knocking it with a tranq arrow might kill it so I suggest shooting it in the head and using a spyglass to see its torpor level.

1st, bola it (it works on mobile) then tranq it in the head, use spyglass to see torpor, 2 arrows might be sufficient, use crossbow for it has less damage.

They are more common in the redwoods in the center part of the island but its loaded with predators so be careful.

Have at least 100 bio toxin for a lvl 1 these guys torpor drains 100 times faster than there running speed and these suckers run insanely fast

For tame steal an egg and lead all galies in neighborhood to your trap

Just build the trap, eat a rare flower for it to follow you and get into the trap and BOOM! you tamed it

Bolas don't work, nor an argentavis can pick it up. On ps4. Anyone who says different is just trying to make you waste your time.

first of all bolas dont work on them if your not on mobile, so heres a tip. Build a trap out of a foundation, a ramp, and some pillars so you can run away but the galli is trapped. Then once you built it, find said galli and eat a rare flower so it chases you, (it might take a few since it doesent last to long) then run onto your ramp jump into the trap and run out and the galli will follow you into and get stuck. Now DONT USE YOUR FISTS OR A BAT. (These dont knock out gallimimus unlike most other dinos, they just kill them) And tranq it until its knocked out. Then feed berries. Damn I wish toxicant arrows were on pc and console.

Don’t make the same mistake I did, tranqed the gallimius I wanted, got it to 89% tamed and then a baryonix killed it.. I lost so many narcotics
