Be careful when you use Tran arrows u can easily kill them before they get knocked out

To tame one of these just clear out an area of all other creatures. Then eat a rare flower so it will agro you. Shoot it with a few darts and boom it’s nocked out. Make sure you have lots of narcotics though.

When encountering one of these, stop immediately in your tracks and grab the closest music device and start playing "Running in the 90's" Then proceed to chase and kill the creature.

We grabbed ours with our quetzal and held it for a person to shoot. We tried to tame a few from the ground with bolas and darts or clubs but they always died. We tamed 4 by holding it with a quetzal and shooting darts (arrows do to much damage) and we didn't lose a single one! On the center there are a few in the woods by blue ob, but the redwoods is covered in them. Wakes up hella fast so bring narcotics. Good luck!

To tame a Gallimimus you will need a few Bolas. These creatures are very fidgety and won't stay still.

After knock out, feed narcoberries, bio-toxin, or similar to keep it unconscious (they wake up quickly).

Feed a Gallimimus Carrots or mejoberries if you can't farm yet. Other berries work, but not as well. Just keep feeding it toxins to keep the Torpor up and that's about it.

If you are far from base and have no saddle, get the Gallimimus to a safe place and return home, then use the request option in the tame menu. This will teleport it to your base without anything in its inventory.

BE CAREFUL! Gallimimus usually live with Carnos, Tyrannosaurus, and other unpleasant creatures. I learned that the hard way... 😵

So, to tame one of these sonic speedy-like creatures, you’ll need about 29 toxin things that you get from killing cniadra or whatever the jellyfish are called, about 7, after you have it put it in your flyer or any other Dino you will be riding to tame it, so that way it doesn’t expire, Look for your desired level and then get about 5 bolas incase you miss, after you bola it tranq it two times in the head, ⚠️Don’t knock out in water or it will drown⚠️, One it knocks out feed it berries or crops or any herbivore foods you have, once you feed it grab the bio toxin from your Dino and put the bio toxin in the gallimimus inventory, once the torpor goes down to 478 feed it biotoxin and just repeat once the torpor goes down to 478 or 458, Once it’s tamed you will have to do the Hunt: raptor quest to get a free gallimimus saddle!(its three people type of saddle) so make sure to pump the points into speed and health and enjoy your speedy friend!

Can seriously jump across rivers by skipping on the water.

On PC just about the only way to tame one of these as a single player is to set up a box trap and use rare flowers to get it to chase you into the box.

Bolas do not effect it and it cannot be picked up by argy or quetz.

Found a female and stole there egg and she will chase you and than trap her in your trap

mobile : I shoot tranq on its body (less damage but less torp too) tranq on head did too much damage so I can't risk it...got some exp for galli after finishing the pursuit tame gallimimus so keep an eye for high level galli

make sure to bring narcotics (narco berry will do but need to force feed it every 4sec) and bola works *on mobile*

When knocking a Gallimimus shoot it with a 2-5 second delay so it wont die

It says on capabilities that u can’t pick these up with an argentavis.

Huge pain to tame. I suggest making a 2x2 trap 2 high with a ramp, use rare flowers to aggro the Gali into chasing you into the trap.

You could also use just a bear trap but something else might trigger the trap because everything around you will get pissed at you.

Do not even try chasing these buggers, they will run at high speed and will usually run straight into the mouth of a hungry Rex.

Gallimimus are an annoying tame.They can be trapped with a bola, but due their low health, it is difficult to knock them out with tranq arrows without killing them, I recommend taking tranq darts instead which are unlocked around level 60. These work better as the deal more torpor, but much less damage, meaning you can knock them out without killing them now. The saddle also has 3 seats, which can be great if on multiplayer. Gallimius just imagine you're compy but berry eater way hudger fast like raptor but weak like phomia great for thatch gathering but decent Carry starter u can get saddle level around level 22
