If you have a Kangaroo you can walk in front of the Gally as the Gally itself is walking. Look at the direction it is going and place a 1x1 thatch base going 1 doorframe up on all sides. Keep the side the Gally is walking in open. U have about 10 seconds or less of the Gally walking forward. Be quick. When you’ve placed the other doorframes walk forward and let the Gally go into the trap and close it with the fourth doorframe.

Pick up with argie then nock it out easy peesy. Feed it crops or simple kibble

So, what a pain they are to catch!

I ended up using a bola, and I didn’t read before about using darts instead of arrows.

I did use tranq arrows, it’s health got all the way down to 8 and then it suddenly fell unconscious - so you can use arrows but just be very careful. I’ve used mejoberries to feed it and also bio toxin to help keep it asleep.

Once you’ve gone through the pain of trying to knock one out without it dying or escaping, the next problem arises… torpor. It goes down so insanely quickly that it can be rather difficult to figure out what to do about it. The most effective way in my experience is just spam a crap ton of narcoberries on it which’ll keep the torpor balanced.

Breed and fully imprint it.

Max it's HP. (2000 or above is perfect)

Level up it's speed to 150% or smth.

Weight to over 400.

Stamina to 300 idk.

Equip with an ascendant saddle.

Then tame a giga the galli will make it look like a job for you.

He's really fast.Faster than a normal player.

Put it in a taming pen, shoot it with *15 traq arrows *(depending on creature lvl i guess) wait *20 second until it's knock down)

They are good scouting creatures and are really fast, but are not very good for much else

Traped it in a stone made trap (youtube traps ark) didnt feedback it for about 10min and then started KO and feeding. Easy tame :)

To tame these guys on mobile you need a bola, and tons and tons of narcotics, and Dimetrodon Kibble because regular Mejoberries are not gonna make the Gallimimus tame faster, I mean sure it increases a little, but Dimetrodon Kibble is a better way, also did I mention its torpor lasts like 5 seconds? Plus they’re about as strong as my pinkie toenail, and once you bola them shoot Tranq Arrows at it, even though there’s a chance that it will die, however if you have a Gallimimus just increase its level as damage and health

If I have an unfinished base I just drop it in there and knock it out since my base basically serves as a free trap

I'm on xbox and bola didn't work, hit it direct when it stopped multiple times.

Ok, so, I'm on Xbox, hear me out here. BOLAS. DON'T. WORK. I've tried it, whenever I tried, THAT LITTLE DANG ZOOM ZOMMY ZOOM ZOOM BROKE THE BOLA. So, I recommend to try something else (for xbox).

1. Make a taming pen. I recommend putting ramps.

2. Get an argentavis and pick one up

3. Put it in your taming pen.

4. Shoot it with tranq darts until it passes out.

5. Quickly give it lots of mejoberries and narcotics

6. When it's torpor meter is getting low, shoot it with your tranq darts.

7. YOU NAME IT ZOOMY ZOOM.

It’s torpor drops just as fast as it runs... for a good level you’ll need maybe 100 narcotics.

well...you guys want to tame this thing? Make sure u bring MANY OR MUCH MORE THAN MANY narcotic because...it torpor drop so fast ;-;
