If your gonna tame these your gonna need: LOTS OF ELEMENT, grappling hook ammo, crossbow and fur armor

Once you feed it element use the grappling hook to get to high ground because the ferox will become huge and become aggressive once it becomes small again do the cycle once again

Now I personally don't know much about the ferox, but I can tell you the dododex tags about this seem to be referring to a recently patched glitch where you used to be able to tame a ferox by knocking it out and putting berries in it, hence the "Knockout taming", "Early game" tags. I could be wrong, but it looks like that's what it's referring to. Just FYI.

What happen with the Gilmore or battle

Careful taming in that one Cave full of polar bears because they will sometimes glitch through the ceiling happened to me twice with some pretty good ones

My best way to tame this jerdrugger is to just build a 3-walls tall stone tower, you can also use wood if yall a M A D L A D but on the serious note jerdruggers are really krickin glitchy. Sometimes they wipe the crack outta ya wood tower and sometimes they are like "Yeah ima not watersheep-main this tower cuz he will feed me druggies anyway"

As of 4/25/220 the Tamed feroxes dont show the bonus levels though the stats include them. But when you pod and they show right level, you unpod and they show the pretame level again.

Avoid Ferox cave and look for them in snow storm section with a stalker or tek helmet. Stand behind a passive tank when they change and let it take the beating. Tek Helmet makes it easy to see approaching danger and head it off.

Give the ferox some element and then when it starts to transform start to spin the bola and the second it’s upper arms touch the floor bola it and it will be glitches out and won’t move until it transforms back this is probably a glitch so do it quickly before it gets patched.

Jusy found out about this when taming a 145 female, you can hand feed ferox ele while you are riding a bloodstalker, but it has to be in first peraon view though. plus if you can, build a trap for them using behemoth gates and pull it in with bloodstalker web or lure it with ele in your hotbar. Like it up!! Can be useful when you tame your next ferox!!

Seems like ferox will always perfect tame as I had one get hit by a mammoth multiples times in enraged form and still got all the bonus levels, the levels won’t show up at first but will once cryo’ed and released or I'm assuming uploaded and downloaded. Bar fills up 5% after each transformation no matter the level and later on the one element isn’t always enough to transform

Use the tek claws to block while he’s big it help me tame mine and he was level 57 wild 🦖😀

Took 4 element for a level 15, honestly just go in the cave, if you’re just on gen for a ferox just shoot the bears with a couple of arrows and they’ll run to the back of the cave. Easy feroxes and once they enrage you can kite them to get stuck in the divit in the cave or on the cave entrance by running up, if you’re too cheap to use grapples like me

Equip element in last slot and fees it to the ferox. It will tansform and try to kill you.

This is probably temporary, but i fed a ferox 6 element when dododex said it would take 3 and it still wasnt tamed, there was no taming bar or anything so maybe it just doesnt work yet

Knocking out method does not seem to work outside of the cave, or while out in the blizzard. Also, bring torches with you and plenty of meat, to stave off the cold sapping your strength. Would also help to kill off any dinos in surrounding area, yuty's and argies and wolf's, oh my!

Why do they disappear when you log off and get back on mine keep disappearing anyone else have this problem

They don’t take long to knock out just hit them a few times with tranquillity darts and feed them mejo and they’ll be yours make sure they don’t agro you though or else you’re in big trouble

Tranq it, and put mejoberrys in inventory, its the fastest tame ever for real

Knock it out element takes longer and is risky knock it out via punching it then feed it berries sadly it costs element to enrage it but it is worth it
