Took 4 element for a level 15, honestly just go in the cave, if you’re just on gen for a ferox just shoot the bears with a couple of arrows and they’ll run to the back of the cave. Easy feroxes and once they enrage you can kite them to get stuck in the divit in the cave or on the cave entrance by running up, if you’re too cheap to use grapples like me
More Ferox Taming & KO Tips
Wait until it does the little “emote” before you feed element. This will ensure you won’t lose any ele during tame.
Wait this says early game... How the heck in early game are you getting element or surviving the tame???
Dododex please fix this
Fjordur Cave at 20, 8 these things spawn at up to 280. Get a desmodus, pick up the ferox, and bring it to the indoor castle nearby. You can just cling to ceiling and come down and feed. Super easy taming on fjordur
How to Tame a Baby yoda:
1. Tame a Ferox
2. Dye it light green and feed it potent dust
3. Put a snow hood on its head
4. This is the way. Hopefully this helped you find and tame baby yoda
As of 3/28/20. Ferox will tame at the wrong level but once put in cryopod will correct to tamed level. A live 145 changed to 217 once in pod post tame. Also dododex is not accurate on x3 possibly x1. The same 145 took 20 element for full tame. At 5% per element.
The Ferox is a shoulder mount! Also, they run from attacks when they’re smol, but will quickly dig for element to help them.
Take a grapple and parachutes.
Hotbar the element, feed it then grapple to the roof before it turns all Bruce Banner on you.
Wait until it calms down then rinse and repeat.
YOU CANNOT CRYO A TRANSFORMED ONE, I LEARNED THAT THE VERY VERY VERY HARD WAY. (goodbye feral the ferox. You will be missed)
How is it classified as Early game? U literally have to feed it element 😂😂 someone help
That can’t be tamed with berries anymore..
