Never ever feed a element to this cute critters cute but deadly fight them with the knife gloves

When youre in the ferox cave beware of bears A LOT OF BEARS luckily theyre stuck there like almost any creature in the cave so pick something for long range. (You can go through most of the cave with even a dragon but u need a cryopod)

Feroxs can climb walls so if your build against a world border you can defend by throwing boulder down onto the attackers fob. Saved me in Vulguero.

I do not trust this thing I was wandering around with my bronto and then a ferox killed my friend and now I never ever trust them

Does anyone know where these little monsters spawn on lost island? I can’t find them and I have been searching for days in the snow area. If someone responded to this saying where they found one will be great.

How to tame: Step one, find a single and only SINGLE ferox, Step two: Feed element,Step three: knock out while its enraged, Step three, REPEAT AS MANY FING TIMES AS NEEDED! Boom u have your ferox. Easy as pie.

You can tame this fella while he’s little just like you would any cute fuzzy creature such as a jerboa, pop a tranq in its butt and feed it plant species Y seeds or crops and berries. Alternatively you can place element into your last item slot and use it near the ferox. However, this method can get rather messy and is not advisable. Save yourself the element and the fleeing for your life and just knock it out.

A tip for encountering the ferox is do not go enyware near the blue ob in Fuordor

I'm playing on Xbox and I've been to the abberation cave countless times taming some decent creatures ive tried every trick possible to find this creature and it's not there. Any suggestions to find this thing. Or is it a spawning bug meaning that they don't spawn especially on lost island? Any ideas thoughts or suggestions. Anything helps please.

You can ko them and tame with mejos

When taming a ferox bring at least 4 - 5 more element because feroxes can “steal” your element I tamed a 130 with 21 element when it said it only needs 17 because of you feed it too fast then it will eat the element and not transform and you will need one more element

I done a check and it’s kinda like immune to radiation when it is in big form or has 100% addition that gives it resistance to damage and radiation

They are also knock out too and with knock out you don't need element

Look, all you need is 1-3 tranq arrows. Fire the arrows until unconscious, and feed berries. It’s simpler than taming a dodo.

You don’t have to give element to tame you can knock it out and give it berrys

It says the ferox is non-vilont taming.THAT is totally a liye and because of that I died and I was level 150.I hate liyes.

You can Passive tame one but it is much easier to knock it out and tame it because when I was tameing one it kept running into dire wolfs

You can feed it berrys if you knock it out before it changes
