500 plant y seeds got my ferox baby to juvenile on 1x rates then berrys the rest, imprinting In a female mate boosted kangaroo gives a double imprint aswell making it even easier

Takes more than 1 y seed to tame 150 , it took me 2 for a lvl100

Tame by knocking out and feeding a mejoberry.

Only the Female needs maximum addiction to breed. Males can be at 0%.

To save on Element, the female can be placed in a cryopod after shrinking back into small form, which keeps her addiction level near maximum.

Jump in succession to increase speed and height similar to a Procoptodon. Can latch to walls, cliffs, etc (hold jump and aim at walls for a targeting reticle), but can only climb by jumping.

3 attack types: base melee, power slam, rock throw.

I noticed if you passive tame them the dont gain any levels when tamed

There’s a cave by a river where you can find these crazy meth monkeys and tame them day 1, all you gotta do is lure the bears out of the first little bit of the cave, at least the ones that are an immediate threat( the ones in the little middle area are stuck there as long as you’re a the point of it ) and either punch them out or ko them with a club, pass them a few mejos and you’ll be set, don’t recommend feeding them element right away as if you’re planning to use it, after 1 use you’ll need to feed it 2 element. Whereas if you ko it it’s 1 element twice then 2 element.

Knock them out and feed them plant y seed.

You can find the seeds in the ocean and harvest them with the big turtles.

You can ether passive tame them with 2 element but they’ll hulk out or if your just starting out knock it out and feed it berry’s

You can actually tame it like a jerboa

Aparantly a ferox is an early game tame

I tamed a ferox but after feeding it element three times I started FOLLOWING ME and then running away for two seconds and it wasn't very smart as it ran into a wall that I was behind. Use this tip to your advantage as it is for your utility

Never ever feed a element to this cute critters cute but deadly fight them with the knife gloves

When youre in the ferox cave beware of bears A LOT OF BEARS luckily theyre stuck there like almost any creature in the cave so pick something for long range. (You can go through most of the cave with even a dragon but u need a cryopod)

Hi hello howdy! I had a fast time taming my ferox in genesis 2 because I needed 4 element but here’s how I did it

Remember: 2 things: the males only turn into hell hound thinges not females (unless if it’s my glitchy server) and they usually spawn with jerobas.

Taming: these things do not need knockout. Have your element in your last slot and ready with a lot of stamina (or fly if you can) give it to the little baby thing and then run for your life for as long as it is transformed. When it’s done give it another element and repeat until you have a little baby

Food: if I remember it right they eat meat after you tame it but put mejo in case I’m wrong.

Riding: they do not need saddles! Hooray! When tiny you can pick them up. They give you extra protection (a shield will appear in the corner) and when big, you can ride them. Feed them the required element and have fun!

Controls: wile riding they have their own features. The normal two different attacks and whatever button is jump double click it repeatedly and get faster and farther each time. At the bottom of the screen are two bars one of them show how much transformation time you have. Unfortunately you can lvl it up to give more transform time :( .

Name ideas!: name them ferry ship names
