You need to give them elements to tame so this guy seems just as terrifying as the nameless.

Ferox pregnancy took about 10h 30 mins also at 100% addiction they get 200% dmg increases 50% attack speed 25% dmg reduction
for anyone who wanted to know that

Go anywhere in the north, northwest area and your bound to find them. The area always has a snowstorm, so bring a bloodstalker to locate the ferox. Use HLNA to get element, then use the element near it, and it will transform. Finally, grab onto a tree or cliff side and wait for it to shrink again. Best of tamings!

HLN-A says in on scorched earth that magmasaurs were tested on scorched earth and the dossier says jerboas are not really jerboas they are something else so maybe Feroxes
were tested on scorched too and the jerboas actually evolved from a few ferox
left behind by accident? (Just a theory)

When youre in the ferox cave beware of bears A LOT OF BEARS luckily theyre stuck there like almost any creature in the cave so pick something for long range. (You can go through most of the cave with even a dragon but u need a cryopod)

If you are taming it in the frozone mission cave, DONT LET IT TRANSFORM IN THE TIGHT CORRIDOR, IT WILL MESH AND GONE FOREVER.

When I was taking my Ferox I found that if it comes to you and rampages it will automatically tame to 33% or depending on your ferox level if I’m correct. So if you so happen to find one your taming and does this it saves you 1 element. This is on genesis so not sure about other maps. I don’t know if it just mine or what but keep this in mind when finding one or running into one

I use these guys as guards, I put element in food boxes and trap them in doors, so when a player does a raid and attempts the code ( I put the code on a sign ) when they get it right it releases the feroxs and they eat the element and I have fun watching the person struggle, try and do this on your friends!

For me this thing in cute form almost looks like Jerboa, if he eats element and you are low lvl. Turn around and RUN AS FAST AS YOUR LEGS CAN GO (Or jump onto parasaur or galimimus) Otherwise this creature is super cool.

Make sure you keep an eye on this little guy, Although he looks Small and Cuddly the Ferox can't get enough element, too much element and it could turn on you...

Feed them elemeth and your good to go

Have element in your last item slot like when taking a bulbdog. After you feed the Ferox the element I will grow in size and try to kill you. When it turns into my Mom in the morning, all you have to do is survive, then it will be tamed.

It’s basically a gremlin so watch out

Wild Ferox will approach you, with this in mind stand on a foundation with 3 walls to your back and a ceiling 2 high, feed the Ferox element by using it out of your hot bar and escape before it can transform fully, wall it in and wait for it to calm down and afterwards you’ll have your very own Murder Squirrels

Plz keep element off hot bar they will follow and this could be bad especially in the ocean biome hope this helps
