You cannot encounter the Fenrir on the map in order to tame one you need to defeat the final boss of Fjordur wether it be gamma, beta, or alpha, to receive a cryo pod with a fenrir inside! The only way to receive a fenrir!! Up so everyone can see!

How to beat fjordur boss first you have to beat brood megapithacus and dragon if your doing alpha you beat all those bosses on alpha if you do beta you do all those bosses on beta and so on if you want to do alpha I suggest you bring these dinos for brood a army of top stat shadows and 1 yuty for megapithacus 5 top stat taxes 1 yuty and the rest top shadows for dragon 15 top stat theris each have 10 veggie cakes and 400 berries in them 4 top stat deinons and 1 yuty and last but not least for vendor bring 3 top stat rexs And 16 top shadows and a yuty and you will be rewarded a fenrir good luck!
