10 plant species z seeds will tame any featherlight. So wait near a plant till you have that supply. I’ve only ever seen them in the red zone. I like to go down there on a rock drake without a light pet on my shoulder, because then you can have it ride on your shoulder on the way out. Having a tamed featherlight following you out is dangerous to the tame. Clear any hostiles away from the tame area and you should have no problems.

When baby's feed auric (gold) mushrooms or raw meat, it will NOT eat berries

Easier to raise if you feed them auric mushrooms instead of meat

U can find the mushrooms very easy on the same place u find the blood wyverns. U can pick with your hand in the little mushrooms on the grass. U can find the featherlight on the northest but it have a little life and the region is very dangerous, so pay attention, probably It will die by something (like a rex, carno...). Will be good if u lock the featherlight in rock structures, then any dinos (that spawn there) can kill it while u tame.

Feed it plant Z seed or simple kibble

I trapped mine in a tent for a easy tame. Its a little tricky to line up his path with the tent but so rewarding if you get it right.

They prefer plant species Z over anything else from what I've discovered.

They also eat Rare Flower, that's what I always use since it's easier to find.

If they ate normal seeds iguanodons would be their best friend

On Valgero these little things tame with mushrooms. After that they eat seeds, like EVERY seed. I got one and named her Rosealita

For the mushrooms for tameing it left part of the map dark swamp like place plenty of them all around a cave watch out for the cave it might kill you take a snow owl to survive u. P. U. P. Pls

It eats meat not berries to tame you use seeds

Hey I'm playing on fjordor and I can't seem to find the mushrooms what else do they eat

It doesn't eat berries when raising

I tranq it. When it woke up it stayed on the ground most of the time. When it flew it came back down shortly. Try it and see if it works like that all the time. I tamed mine quickly without a tent. Use Auric mushroom though.

Remember ther in the purple Cristal area mostly

So look there but be carfull cuz ther lots of bad dudes ......

I suggest killing everything in area because they will try and kill that very pretty featherlight, try to wait for it to land or stay on take til it gets low. Eats z seeds. Hope this helps
