If you see one of these run... Turn and run the other direction. These little buggers look like a Trilobite with a mouth full of tentacles. He will leap onto you immediatly paralyze you. Then he slowly sucks the life out of you.

Better hope you arent wearing armor, because then you are stuck watching yourself die for up to 20 minutes, because there is no escape.

These motherf*****rs have a bug where they can go up on a beach. Really annoying especially on Ragnarok Viking Bay

These guys are mostly in deep shallow waters, they can easily be avoided and high level players will have no problem with them. They can also be found near land in Ragnarok. It’s best to be avoided if low levels. I believe they have torpor but even a low level mosa, megalodon, plesiosaur, or squid can take a lone one and even more with ease. Only problem is that there are other megalodons around and anglerfish, They drop black pearls and silica pearls more commonly than black pearls, similar to the trilobites but as a defensive and aggressive version.

It says not tamable but maybe try a fish basket

These guys are little jerks, won't do you any good to hit them with any close range weapons. Use long range, like a good gun to blow their cap off.

Stay away if you have low fortitude, knocks out you really quick if it hits you

Found in and around the crashed ship at Viking bay. They do torpor damage so don’t get sleepy.

Run for your life!!!! They tranq you and whatever tame your on. Use the dolphins to kill and then harvest with a pick to get the most black pearls. Highly suggest Viking bay for gathering since there are literally 50+ down there almost at all times.

You can easily pick them off by swimming above them, as they can't swim up

Nasty little bugs,, hunt them on the bottom of Viking Bay for some easy black pearls. They’ll put roofies in your drinks and knock you out so bring scuba gear and a strong water mount.

Easily the best way to get black pearls early. Killing these critters might be slower than alpha hunting, but it is much safer. If you're early, they also drop oil and chitin, which can be tough to come by. They hide under coral, so keep your eye out and watch for Mosas!

These things are the assholes of the ocean. If they hit you ONCE, you’re done. Especially while farming pearls in Viking bay on rag.

Great for farming Black Pearls for end game items such as the Tek Replicator, but they are very hard to find underwater so finding them can be a challenge. If you’re looking for these creatures I’d recommend scuba gear and high level water dinos just in case you run into a situation with a aggressive water dinos (Mosas, Plesis, Megladons, Squids, and etc.) One more tip, don’t let the Eurypterid attack, because of their poisonous attacks that can knock you out using a crossbow to kill them from a range is highly suggested.

Kill and harvest with metal hatchet you’ll get 2-4 black pearls and 20-30 silica along with about 80 chitin on one times. Don’t get hit though. My trick is to swim because they can’t come directly up and won’t touch me. To get more pearls get an otter.
