Encountering Tips

How do I kill a eurypterid? eurypterid battling strategies in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
Full mastercraft riot armor and one hit I'm knocked. level 120 it was level 15. On fjordur.
1.YES, it does exist in ark mobile deeeeeeeep sea.
2.Just like normal scorpions, they have to attach themselves to the ground at all times, which means u can easily 3-shot them with a primitive crossbow.
3. It has a higher probability to provide u wIth BLACK PERAL than trilobite.
Please UP this to let others see it, thx!
APPROACH WITH EXTREME CAUTION REGARDLESS OR YOUR LEVEL!!!!
First time I saw them at the bottom of the ocean, decided to kill it because it would have only taken just a few hits; I get stung TWICE and my Torpor hits almost instantly to 90% full. Here I am, at the depths of the water, with a Lazarus Chowder enabled, slowly drowning unconscious, by the time I wake up, I frantically swim to the surface but my Sarco couldn’t make it, decided to swim solo, died halfway to the surface from lack of oxygen.
They are small but extremely dangerous to be attacked by, so unless you can guarantee you won’t get knocked out by Torpor harvesting Black Pearls, there’s no reason to take that risk.
Do not go near them I promise they will knock you out in one hit
As I'm writing this I am slowly dying by a level 3 eurypterid that keeps on spawn killing me
If you see one, DON'T go near it, it will knock you out, and if it doesn't kill you, it is so far down in the ocean, you will drown, my suggestion shoot with a crossbow, far away from it.
Actually basilos are completely immune to this thing!
You can outrun it, use a spear if your low level. Should be tamable...
Today is my first time encountering this or maybe I have before but never noticed, this creature is wildly strong at knocking you out. I got one shot knock from this where this thing was only level 150 on ark mobile. It is best to kill these if you are taming a tuso or any sea creature at the bottom of the sea. Never ignore them or underestimate their possibilities. I was shocked to see this. It’s scary too.
This thing IS NOT a problem if you have a high/medium level basilosaurus you can even hunt them for black pearls all though avoid it when you dont have a mount that can protect you
Usually can be found around herbivore island in the deep deep sea they drop a small amount of black pearls but if you grind them with tribemates it shouldnt be a problem
Just get yourself a high level baryonyx and the die easily. Just get somewhere safe to let the torpor run out
Use range on them and skin them for resources. Just dont fall asleep on the job
Saw one on fjordur and decided to kill it with my trike, but 30 seconds later I'm unconscious, as is the trike, and then I wake up as it kills my trike. Moral of the story: don't fight level 150's on level 80 trikes
Make sure you never ever go near these sea scorpions. They do loads of torpor and can kill you. I suggest shooting them with crossbows from afar. Hope this helps!
The bane of my existence. The very reason why Look under my bed at night, I fear that one day when im sleeping ever so soundly I hear a faint noise and I wake startled, wandering what it was, I step out of bed and then I see it THE FORBIDDEN LOBSTER next thing I know im feeling sleepy I look down and I see that it bit me… I fear only the worst good bye cruel world.
Was on ragnarok, and was near the bay. THIS THING Sneak attacked me, and I was lucky my Dinosaur were with me and high lvls. It knocks out any pet you have on your shoulder as well. It ko my jerboa. Hope it helped! I’m still mad thou
If any of you overconfident psychopaths want to, these are essentially just the deadly trilobites of the deep sea
If you on mobile, you can find this on bottom right of the map, around the Herbivore Island. Just ride dolphin, so you can bite anything that live on the sea without taking an aggro (even Mosa and Plesio).
I was travelling on my mosa until I saw one of these sea scorpions I tried taming it but realised, they weren’t tameable I went up to it and it one shot me into a deep sleep I was wearing scuba thankfully but then jellyfish came out of no where and killed me
As long as you don't stick to the ocean floor you should be safe, cause they don't swim upwards
