The Floating Thing can not just be found on the ocean but on the sand/beach too.Little buggers kept killing me.

They are like sea scorpions they are also rare

DO NOT attempt to fight these on person. they are small but give an insane amount of torpor. use a water mount or just dont go for them

Do not mistake this for a drowning pulmnoscorpius , it will knock you out and leave you to get consumed by a mosasaur

They can nock you out in 1hit with out flak with flak it’s 2 hits to nick you

Annoying as heck kills you a bunch

It remains on the Sea floor, even after it gets aggroed. Easy to kill, has low damage, but applies fair amount of torp depending how much fortitude you have. Has a slight chance to drop 1-5 Black Pearl's. Use metal pick for best harvesting chances.

Found them in medium depth ocean water, right off the beach, in Ragnarok. Not sure what other maps they spawn in on. As long as you have a crossbow, it’s pretty easy to agro them onto land and kill them in early game.

Puts you to sleep underwater deadly

Sebastians annoying uncle, not really a serious threat, (at least in my experience), sort of like Sea Dilos, easy to take care of by themselves but in groups are incredibly annoying to deal with if your just trolling around, won't afro you anyhow unless you get too close.

If it hits you, you’re going unconscious and dying unless you pumped fortitude or play unofficial. From what I can tell they can’t swim up at all so stay above them but I have had them follow me out of the water on Rag in Viking bay.

stay away from these guys especially at low levels. they will knock you out and you will probably drown

Use an icthy to kill these as they will not take torpor damage. The higher the level and the more damage the faster you can kill these

Don’t attack these guys even with mounts. They deal like 200 torpor. So a couple of them show up, you’re as good as dead. Fight them with mantas, they don’t take torpor damage.

Just run. Can't tame, knocks you out in one hit and continues to eat your sleeping body till it's gone.

Drops same as trilobite

For some reasons these guys can live on land,making them even harder to outrun. One time I found one on my server on land and killed my 2 parasaurs and my Dilo, these guys also will most likely one shot knock you out, unless you have extremely high fortitude. Always avoid in any circumstance as long as you are faster than it.
