Don’t let these guys hit you. Use long ranged weapons like crossbows and spearguns.

They are found at the bottom of the ocean (island and ragnarok, not sure about the center), they are great for farming black pearls as they yield a few per, however, make sure you fight them on a water Dino that has a lot of torpor and avoid it’s hits, as it deals pretty powerful torpor to the player and their mount.

I think theres something wrong with the date with ecountered at ocean floor i only see it at the sunken ship at the viking bay to farm black pearls

Only chance of escape, hope your tames kill it before it kills you. They knock you out.

Ran into my first one today...on a beach at night harvesting wood!? Was starying to thibk they didn't exist (which I was fine with) Not only ocean floor beasts aparently, they will find you on yhe beach. Terrifying beach scorpions that knock you out and scare the living hell out of you. Enjoy.

viking bay is the best place to kill a lot of these and get black pearls. I have had the most success using a basilosaurus to kill them but be warned getting hit is basically a death sentence as they do ~50 torpor a hit. I recommend a slow animal with high damage but be careful if your torpor starts to rise

Scariest creatures you’ll ever meet. Don’t let one get close or you’ll be saying good night in a matter of seconds. They’re quiet so you won’t know until they’re already upon you. Mostly found at the bottom of the oceans but on rag they’re all over Viking Bay so keep your head on a swivel

A frog will rip these things to shreds. Make sure you have one. If you’re on your own? Run! Run like the wind. Because these things can knock you out instantly with a single sting.

Be careful when starting on ragnarok at Viking bay, finding out there’s cool boxes with stuff in them in the water and going to break them.

I’ve personally had to many bad experiences of them sneaking up on me and knocking me out underwater.

When you see these just run they knock you out in about two seconds

Note, the sea scorpion is an aggressive version of the trilobite. Meaning it can survive on land. Deals massive torpor and little damage. So you still die to the swarm.

Go to bottom of viking bay and prepare to get BUTT F@CKED by them

Be very careful and if you are trying to kill them go with a friend because they can poison you and knock you out, so you need a friend to drag you out the water so you don't drown.

It’s the scorpion of the sea, so stay away and shoot it to oblivion + they do torpor damage

They are a easy source of chitin hide and oil and can only move on the sea floor but the will knock you out if they get to you

These guys hang out on the sea floor, deal torpor damage, yeah, so basically stay away. Assessment: Aggressive
