If you see them... Swim away, and run away very quickly
More Eurypterid Utility Tips
If you need black pearls on valguero, there is a cave hidden in the jungle on a hill near green ob that you can enter and drop down a big hole into a water pool. There are 4 or 5 pools in the cave, each with up to 15 eurypterids in them, you just have to kill the eels before you get the eurypterids. And the beauty of this cave is that if you leave it (make sure to bring grapples to get out if you donβt want to go the long way) the eurypterids will be back and you can farm another few hundred black pearls. Itβs even easier in single player where you can exit to main menu to refresh the spawns.
Fun fact. These bois came before breathable air if they are wut I think they are
Can find them near the sunken ship in Viking bay for easy black pearls.
Go to the ocean they say, and boom you are inconscious :)
Use the dolphin and kill them with that. Dolphins are immune to getting knocked out so killing them is easy.
Left my wyvern at Viking bay for 10 mins while I tamed a meg came back and it was on 15 health from these dumbass scorpions my wyvern has 40000 health
Shoot it from far away with a rifle. Then to loot it use a metal pick. Sometimes they drop black pearls and their a great source of chitin.
No tips!!! Man kill these in viking bay by the ship wreak or any shipwreak and watch the black perals roll.do not let the hit u!!
These aren't limited to under the water, and can float over rocks. If they manage to melee you, you're probably going to be knocked out by their tranq and slowly killed. They're easy to kill at range if you're smart, and very much worth it for the chitin and silica, so just be careful to either have a tamed Dino nearby or to stay at range
