On gen2 these things love being out of the water and on land so be careful

It's true these things levitate and they do torpor

Killed a bunch of these with just me and my mate easily. Boat and crossbow works a treat, don’t get too close or you’ll get knocked out but shorting from range at ocean surface level or just under worked wonders. Just make sure they all dead before you harvest

U will need a itchy or a manta cuz they torpor immune also they drop black pearls

WARNING: they decrease your stamina while increasing torpor which makes them very dangerous to fight but damn spino just kills these guys.

I used a spino to kill them and I got a black pearls machine.

Scorpion +You + Your creature = 2 bodies and none scorpion

Don't go looking at cool water in Viking bay they're at the bottom.. knockout my rhynognathia and kill it ...i was lucky to survive.

I don’t know if this was the Eurypterid that done it, but as soon as I hopped off my ichthyosarus it nocked me out 1 hit

To new players to this floating lobster don't go by it will knock u out with one hit and it won't go away untill u kill it but if u try it will be extrem hard cuz if u get close youll get knocked out -By mason

What is the best way to gather black pearls from these? I've read using a metal are, but am curious if a dino can gather more efficiently.

Quick tip.. THEY GO ON LAND! I had no clue and got attacked from behind when I was on land a good distance from the water. Ended up losing all my stuff in pvp it wasn’t great

Those MfS can fly on land for some reason and kill both you and your family. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!

So I was playing genesis and I want to the bottom of the ocean and I found one it knocked me out and KILLED ME. PRO TIP: DON'T GO NEAR ONE.

No tips!!! Man kill these in viking bay by the ship wreak or any shipwreak and watch the black perals roll.do not let the hit u!!

RUN AWAY! These things target you from anywhere and will leave the water just to chase you, levitating above the ground. Just one hit and your screwed, torpidity to the MAX. Worst part is that they do no damage so your stuck in a loop of no dmg taken until u finally die
