If you need black pearls on valguero, there is a cave hidden in the jungle on a hill near green ob that you can enter and drop down a big hole into a water pool. There are 4 or 5 pools in the cave, each with up to 15 eurypterids in them, you just have to kill the eels before you get the eurypterids. And the beauty of this cave is that if you leave it (make sure to bring grapples to get out if you don’t want to go the long way) the eurypterids will be back and you can farm another few hundred black pearls. It’s even easier in single player where you can exit to main menu to refresh the spawns.

I always use a spino to kill them and near the sunken ship they are easy to kill with a spino

If you use a tame like Spino they can’t hit u since the Spino has a long range with its bite

Left my wyvern at Viking bay for 10 mins while I tamed a meg came back and it was on 15 health from these dumbass scorpions my wyvern has 40000 health

Go top left of the map with a mosa and go to the sea floor alot spawn there

They deal 200torpor in 1hit.never hug them unless you want to test it : )

These can spawn on mobile near underwater caves and are deadly for players that are level 1to80 they also spawn in the deep ocean and deep ocean is dangerous for anyone playing ark

THERE IS ALSO MILLIONS OF THEM AT VIKING BAY SO IF YOU GET A MEGATHERIUM THERE YOU BASICALLY GOT INFINITE BLACK PEARLS BECAUSE THEY COUNT AS BUGS!

Shoot it from far away with a rifle. Then to loot it use a metal pick. Sometimes they drop black pearls and their a great source of chitin.

Use an icthy to kill them. They’re torpor immune and don’t deal knockback so you can kill them faster. Also you can harvest them with a pick while mounted, but it is a pain. Also you won’t be attacked by megs and anglers
