More Eurypterid Everything Else Tips
Hello!
This a megalograptus, or mixopterus, which are both species of eurypterid, though this eurypterid is more likely to be a megalograptus, since mixopteruses' third pair of appendages were much smaller than the megalograptuses'. It was about the size of a person, though a little smaller, while the Jaekeloptreus, another type of eurypterid was much larger than a human, though the megalograptus was a very unique species, which was only similar to the previously mentioned mixoptreus. The megalograptuses' name means "Big/Great writing" since it was originally thought to be a graptolite (a type of filter-feeding animal). These guys lived near shore, capturing prey with its appendages that are seen in many (and possibly all) eurypterids.

Fun fact: The model of Eurypterid used in the game is based on a real life Eurypterid called Megaloraptus. (This is just my assumption since the Eurypyerid kodel in the game looks like Megaloraptus)
They are on mobile to anyone who's curious about it.
If youre not sure where to find these, theyre at the very bottom of the ocean. When I look for them, I look next to the world border on the south eastern island.
Wildcard if you are reading this please make the eurypterid tameable. It's one of my favourite prehistoric creatures and it could be super useful in underwater taming. πππ
If u are thinking of farming chitin through these bad boys.I would say it's a bad idea because these are deadly they killed my 230 level meg.Just grab a good level baryonyx and go in clever cave and remain there and kill everyone. And u will have lots of chitin
If only we could tame this.β¦β¦β¦β¦..
This thing suck so much I donβt think wildcard should have put it in the game
