(Ark Mobile) I tamed it by going rodeo with it hahaha,This is how I do it

1. Sneak on it and when I close enough I dash and quickly ride it

2. Quickly feed it with rockarrot to soothe it before it's bucks you off

3. Don't spam feed,give one at the time,if you accidentally double tap two rockarrot it's will bucks you off (it's don't like force feed haha)

4. When it's hungry it's will try to bucks off you again,feed to calm it again

5. Pursuit ask you to collect 5 rockarrot only but I would recommend brought a lot as it's spoils fast and you might need to travel finding it

6. I found it on the way to the volcano on left side.They slightly near the volcano on green grass part

7. There was titanoboa, raptor, titanoboa, pusmonocus, baryonx when I was there so careful

P/s: I don't know if it's effective than other taming method but I have fun this way, I don't have to sneak on it all the time and chase it around towards predators,it's just goes back and forth ( I clutch to it for my dear life hahahaha xD) Good luck everyone if trying it xD

My Equus was a pain but I got it by my argentavis

1. Build a 4 by 4 wooden wall or stronger (not thatch)

2. use a arventavis to pick up a equus

3. put equus in the pen or chamber what ever you want to call it

4. then just equip rockarrots

5. then do the rest

For mobile players I found it easy to just pick these up with an argy drop it off at a safe location or a built trap and go from there. (They will run off when dropped with argy be aware where you are they like going into the water)

I'd say building the pen is best bet but why these gotta be so hard?Also how do you feed it while riding?

Just tamed a 290 with 100% effectiveness. It wasn't actually hard this time since I've learned how it behaves when I tamed a 40. I'm on mobile, so just keep your finger over where the rockcarrot is in your hotbar. When it's hungry a pop up will come exactly where something has spoiled pop up comes. Let it come every 40 seconds or so and tap on it once instantly. Yeah it could be a tedious process to keep the focus.

I'd suggest using a soothing balm to shorten the time and use your argy to bring it some place safe where you'll tame it and wear a ghilie to get close to it.

Please let others see. It's actually very easy to tame a higher level one without losing any effectiveness.

I know the pursuit says get 5 carrots, but you need lot’s more.

Make sure that you do not have your spyglass in your hand when hopping on the Equus. If you do, it will make you auto-look through it and you won't be able to put it away. You won't be able to see the feed prompt and will be kicked off. This just happened to me on a 150 Day is during x2 -_-

Everything you need-

* crops (you can use berries but it only makes the tame bar go up 1%)

*patience

* no weight

...

When wanting to tame you have to find one, you can trap it into a place next to your house but when trying to tame you got to put your taming food to the last slot and crouch and go behind it, if on xbox press Y to feed and ride, if on computer press E to feed and ride and I believe you just press feed and ride for ark mobile.

When riding press Y to feed it, BUT only feed it when it's trying to kick you off otherwise it'll make you get off of it and the equus will run away, so feed it when it's mad, and just stay on it until it's tame bar goes up.

As far as I know the best maps to tame is lost Island but mostly Genesis pt 2.

On the ps4 you have to hold down triangle win it tells you to in the bottom right side hopefully this helps

These guys are pretty annoying to tame but if using rockcarrot they are pretty much as good as your. P.S. get a farm early on and get you one of these NOW

Don’t use berries use carrots it’s way faster

Would really recommend using the carrots! It tames it much faster and oof i have lost about 6 unicorns because i got kick off and it ran away then died, dont be like me and just get it over with lol

To tame them just crouch and walk towards it. Make sure that before hand you have about 100-150 method berries if you want to go simple like me. Put the mejo berries in your last slot and then press feed. Right after you feed it press ride and then press the button to ride again. It will feed it another Berry and let it run around with u on its back. After a while it will try to buck u off. Simply press the ride button again and it will feed it. Just keep doing that until it is tames. I play PC and so it might not work on mobile. -CyberOwl6

To tame a horse I would use a bird that can pick it up and take it to a pen where you could take it. And if you wanna use berry I would take 300 for a 145 to the lowest. I hoped I helped Somone that wanted a horse

As a mobile player myself I suggest you other mobile players use crops to tame it but be careful once it sees you it'll run as far as the eye can see so just keep crouched adapt to it's movements and stay behind it until tamed

Also don't let anything hit it it'll reset the taming process

To tame these is what I did I brought them to my base where my friend gave some balm and it tamed instantly so always use MAJOR SOOTHING BALM

There are 2 options to tame equips:

1.kill the allo near it and ride it

2.go find another equus that is not near an allo

Option 1 is the best cause finding another one will be very hard.

Kill the parent, steal the babies, very humane

A pen does help taming Equus and can keep them from running into unsafe areas while you do, but you need to give them time in the game to calm down from being either dropped by a flyer or pulled by a lasso into the pen.

Once the Equus is in the pen leave it alone for an in-game day. Keep your tames and yourself away from the pen. Once it calms down, go in and tame like you normally tame an Equus.
