ARK SURVIVORS WENT TO KILL
RAIDING ON A PONY
PUT A BULLET IN ITS BACK
AND NOW... Well... It's kinda dead...
Take it down with a Shock Dart, then feed it 10 Troodon Kibble to be safe.
How to get the Troodon Kibble........
Is it black with white stripes or white with black stripes?
Use carrots to tame it. I found that the azulberries are it's preferred berries but carrots tame it quick.
The more melee you pump up the more torpor is given with it's "buck" attack. You can eventually one shot lnockout a giga
Garunteed sank in your boot.
This can be really easy to tame if u have: major balm for higher lvls, High Lvl Trike, Trap items, And a Flyer with Good Amounts of Speed and Stamina, So What ur gonna do is ride the trike and then go to a near mountain and harvest lots of berries, (i got 38 Carrots from this!) Keep Harvesting until u get A lot of carrots, grab the carrots and major balm, hop on ur flyer and fly around looking for a equus, I find them at swamp and near redwoods, Keep Flying until u find a good lvl Equus, Set up a trap near by, kill any nearby predators, Put the carrots and Major balm in Ur Inventory slot, grab the equus with ur flyer and plop the equus into The Trap, wait a bit for it to calm down and then sneak on up on it while crouching, passive feed it the carrot then quickly mount it, feed it the carrot whenever it says to feed it, feed it the balm too! U passive feed it the balm, Wait a bit of feeding and bam u have a equus! Hope this helped^^
I sat here for 30 minutes wondering why I keep falling off….
This creature is so picky!!
To tame….
1- once on, quickly and only feed 1!!!!! Carrot! From your hot bar. If you hit it more than once, it will push you off.
2- do not take eyes off of it, once it stop kicking and once the bar on top tells you to feed carrot, again, only push it once!
3- make sure you’re in an enclosed area, that’s how I tamed mine and I couldn’t imagine doing this out in the environment.
Use an argentavis to pick up and drop off in building without a ceiling.
Totally not worth anyone's time. You really don't need it to knockout any dino, and it's one of the worse out there to try to tame, trust me. He's always gonna be in the middle of Therizinosaurs, Spinos, Terror Birds, Pulmonoscorpius... Dies easily, low HP, slow run, and real slow taming. Don't even waste your time with these guys!
Is this thing is hard to tame or not i just feed it with carrots
To tame on Console in ASA.
Feed. Leave the game. Reopen the game. Feed again. Over and over until done
Taming (On mobile)
There will be a few steps in getting said Equus.
1. Make a rockcarrot farm (definitely needed because you will need lots)
2. Once you’ve found an Equus you like, (they spawn near rivers.) you can carry it with an argentavis back to a 4x4 thatch or wooden structure with tall walls and a ceiling.
3. Next, put the rockocarrots in your hot bar and feed/mount when needed. (You can use Kibble or balm to speed this up. I used around 30-45 rockocarrots to tame a level 2)
4. Enjoy your new equus.
Hope this helps someone -Mangodragon3
if they go into water, STAY ON. they swim faster than you and won’t freak out. just wait until they make land again. they won’t gain or lose progress while they swim.
If u really want a equus, go to the lighthouse in ragnerock! There are tons! Map ragnercock there are herds of equuses!
You can just fly over them with a pterodactyl and feed them, but move away before their done. This is good if you are in a high predator spot
You find one
Feed it once
Ride it
Only feed it again when it try’s to buck you off
Repeat the last step until tame
Congrats you have an Horse
If you find a unicorn do the same thing it works trust me
Note: They are common on the plains on Valguero on pc. Also, they are more common on pc then mobile. Mobile is like hardcore to pc; dungeon bosses are like alpha variants, and no tames allowed in dungeons and boss fights, resource gathering is really slow, equus are really rare, lots of crashes, exp rates are really slow BUT are way more in line with the engrams. Like I'm not taming a Deinoychus with only a raptor, trike, 2 paras, an unsaddled PT and a lvl 95 dilo. Ty for reading even tho it go off topic :)
Iguanodon is easier to tame and better in pretty much every category
When you tame a equus with berries its dies instandly !
Two things:
1.) Taming may go down when you start, that's because it is starving. DO NOT feed it again unless prompted to.
2.) Having a tame follow on neutral helps a lot, but be careful, taming will reset if hit whilst your tame defends.
