Took me 133 carrots to tame a lvl 300

I made this mistake the first time that I tried to tame an equus. You have to stay mounted or else you will loose taming effectiveness.

Uhhhhh.....a level 18 does NOT require only 4 Rockarrots...my level 17 was a 12 when I tamed it and it took over 10 to tame. Don't listen to Dododex. Use a Trike to find the Rockarrot seed and plant it, take a stack of 100 just to be safe as they do wither quickly.

Dont try to cage it in because it wont help

#2 get berries and tame

Be nice if taming tips actually held useful info like the fact that you have to mount it

use bola n equus and trap it with dino gates or foundation and frames.Once it calms down,feed and wait

Suggestion! Pick up the highest level Equus you can find and drop it in a Taming pen. That way you can tame it whenever you want basically.

This animal knocks you out when you try to tame it so be careful

Quetzal and pen, i wouldnt dare tame wild. And be sure to look at the bottom left, it will tell u when to feed. Hard to tell whem it bucks n you'll dismount

Really horses were the most suggested creature when you can ride DINOSAURS that's just wrong.

It is so much simpler to just watch the lower left hand screen, where it says the taming effectiveness. You will see it flash when you need to give the care food.
