Don't shoot with arrows, if you get near one of these beast simply feed it, then mount on it, when it starts to try to kick you off feed it with e while on. Hope this helped

When the mounted Equis takes damage there is a chance that the taming progress will be reset.

Getting the Equis trapped in my quetzal's hit box gradually lowered the taming progress - this did not happen when it got stuck in wild creatures.

Once an Equus is spooked it tends to run forever and not allow it's self to be tamed.

You can ko the Equus for another passive tame attempt when it wakes up.

Equus seems to spook easily at night and spawn mostly during the day.

When taming Equis or unicorn have another player run with you to heard so you don't run off a cliff or into danger. Or build a really big pen.

They are a good mobile mortar and pestle. Only tame w/ rock carrot or trips in kibble. Then you can ride in the sun like an old western!

Took me forever to figure it out. It kept running away from me, but thankfully I had my pteranodon to fly after it😂

Anyway, I stocked up at least 40 rockacarrots because they don’t exactly last long do they? I was then able to sort of stay on, but it did knock me out. I then figured out that you have to wait whilst it’s running around with you to be able to feed it. Takes forever but worth it - I now have a Equus named Grace after my own melon headed horse

Tbh, just plop your horse in a taming pen cuz if you get bucked off of these guys they go to I finite and beyond

To tame these, MAKE SURE you have killed anything near it. (Raptor, dilo, etc) I recommend you being an argy to carry it back home. I tamed one and her name is Fable. Happy horse taming!

Topor drain is pretty high dont think about taking my horse used it till ko to defend from direwolves

Equus can be easly tamed with dilo kibble on ark mobile

Make sure to have a good supply of carrots and a few bolts. That will paralyze the equus for a short period of time giving you enough time to build a fence around it so it does not run away

Pure cancer on pve servers to tame, spook it to a taming pen or raft, everything eats these things out in the open.

These can be a pain in the butt make sure to have a LOT of carrots

Real pain on mobile because tame bar doesnt show at all but otherwise if u have carrots or silo kibble it should be better (just don’t be late or it will knock u out) have fun

You could feed it narco berries to keep it knocked out and feed the rocks root

The more it Kicks you Off the lower The Taming Effectiveness Is.

It will immediately run straight at anything that will kill it. If this suicide attempt fails it will circle its predator as if to say.... please eat me i dont want to live. Then you tsme a 145 for like an hour and it just dissapears into nowhere at 98 percent
