*Uni taming* No mounting is required to tame a unicorn. They prefer griffin kibble, I don’t know exactly how many will be needed but I used 1 soothing balm and 1 super griffin kibble and it tamed immediately.

*bonus tip* If you carry to a taming pen and it freaks out and prevents you from taming, tranq dart until sleep then allow it to wake up to reset taming. DO NOT USE ARROWS AS THEY WILL KILL IT.

Do not spook a unicorn. Still waiting for this 135 I found to de-spook, 40 mins later

It's relatively easy to get one stuck on the wing of a wyvern. Land the wyvern and walk it so the horse is stuck on the outer wing, then hop on and do the whole tame while stuck in place. Put the wyvern on passive.

These guys are bosses at getting cactus sap. Cactus sap weighs 1/5 it’s usual weight(stack of 100 is 2 units) and stone is half weight. I haven’t checked anything else yet- hope this helps.

If you're on aberration you can grab it with a crab and feed it like any other passive tames cutting out the riding part and a possible bourse shoe black and blue on your face

Bring way more carrots than you'll need. Also, practice before on a regular Equus. Lastly, have someone to kill wild dinos because s single hit ruins the tame. Found a 130 wild unicorn and brought 100 carrots. Of course, I want doing great with effectiveness, but what ruined it was being attacked by an enraged ant eater. Kmocked me off and it despawned :'(

If you have a wyvern, you can pick them up and then drop them into a taming pen. Safe and easy.

Great for the plains in Ragnarok and great pack mules as well

If your looking for the only unicorn that spawns in at a time then your vest bets herba island get searching

On our server we have too many people building around green but the best spot I have found is west of red tower to the river with three water falls, just go up to the second and I've never left empty handed, I personally own 17 and I'm working on my 4th generation of mutations!

Equus needs to be added to the knock out weapons, better than scorpion!

Be careful while taming I used up 16 rockarrots because of encounters with carnos.

On ps4 there is a problem with taming be sure to spam food after it's tamed or it will die of starvation

Took me 4 hours to find a lvl 10. Common spawn my @$$

so many kids trying to be funny and failing. how about you stop and rethink your life.

So iv got 3 equus now but i went though an encounter no one has mentioned. Someone was trying to tame a equus lvl 120 but they messed up a few times and didnt want the equus anymore for the bonus lvls was depleted for the most part and it was taking awhile with carrots. So a friend of mine on the server and i went to go get it and tame it but it wouldnt prompt the e feed or ride. We left and came but still nothing so my idea was force tame it to tranq it. Found out crossbow does to much damage almost killed it so we waited for it to heal and used darts that worked great but took a lot of them. So be aware for ppl on pvp servers they cant steal jump on the equus if you already have the only way for them to take it is to tanq it. Need to do some more testing to see about other methods.

Have someone pin it down with wyvern wing. 2nd person gets on and tames. No running around.
