Well, first equus I met in my whole life was a unicorn, I was totally surprised. The unicorn itself even more. It was so surprised it jumped off a cliff and right into my favourite location. I call it the"raptor woods". Half a minute after it was gone I just realized one thing: The rarest dinos are always the dumbest. (if you don't count dodos)

The biggest thing that I was missing from all these tips. You are supposed to keep feeding it while you ride it. I kept hopping off and trying to feed it over and over. I lost so many horsies. I felt like an idiot. Stay on the stupid horse and feed it after you feed it from behind the first time.
