Tamed a 150 earlier today. Take a stack of carrots, hop on, press E when he starts to buck you off. Way too easy to tame in my opinion.

Troodon kibble or carrots work. Sneak up on it and feed it then jump on! Watch the lower left corner and when it says to USE an item hit 'E' or what your use key is, it will eat a piece of food and taming will progress :)

When you tame one use simple kibble and it gets it tamed a good bit on a level 95 and then I used a I used the desmodes the item you craft and the it's tamed boom

Boy do I have a lot of tips, and I’m a little mad because I have yet to tame one because I didn’t know these tips. One, this applies to mobile since that’s what I play. Let’s begin. Don’t listen to the Dododex or google on how many it takes. Dodo said 12 rockcarrots for a 45 equus and google said thirty, I used close to 50 rockcarrots on a 45 and it still didn’t tame it. Next, I think Equus have to be a certain level for you to see how close you are to taming them. 3 different leveled equi, highest level being 150 didn’t show it, but a level 170 Equus did. So, idk. Finally, be ready to be there for a while especially since one time I tried to tame one, the level 170. The taming percentage started to go down even though I couldn’t feed it, so there’s a chance you could lose a ton of taming percentage and there’s nothing you can do. My advice tame a good berry collector to collect at least 2 stacks of rockcarrots, especially for one above level 100, and make sure you have at least an hour and a half before attempting to tame one. Otherwise you could waste time

And resources for nothing.

If you're doing the pursuit "tame equus" then you found a high lvl one you need atleast 20+ rockcarrots cause 5 is not enough

If you have a soothing balm though then go for it it will take atleast 2 or 1 rockcarrots

If you you want to find more equus with high lvl or different colors then abandon the pursuit and take it again cause it will reset the quest and boom!

Dont mount on mobile, just get a pen or just walk up behind it crouching and feed it

These are great and easy tames if you have a lot of rockcarrots you are good to go…

Also up if you think that Ark should add the Pegasus!!

They are so underrated. I knock out everything with them! Tbh its boring to build traps over and over the map. And often its impossible to build traps because of the spam, especially in pve. And its an epic feeling to fight against a Rex only with your equus. And you can use the longneck riffle while riding. I even tamed an Argie. And used the lasso to bring the Argie out of the danger zone. Its also good for the deinos egg run on valguero.

When you have problems to tame a high level Equus and cant grap them whith a flyer, tame a low level and use the lasso to capture it and transport to a save place. Last Tip: you can find good saddles in green supply drops.

Never feed this guys kibble I feed one a rock carrot it did half the taming percent but the kibble did 0.2 taming don't use kibble

If you don’t have a bird just tame a raptor or two and have them on neutral and they will protect you and your zebra-horse

You can’t tame it till level 10 upvote so others know

If there is an Equus, there is always a rex or something. Up if true and down if not

And when ARK Mobile ask you to bring 5 rockarrots to tame an Equus, bring 30 at least instead please.
