Get 70+ carrots on 1x or 40+ on 2 times, very easy on ragnarok as both spawn in highlands. Wait for the blue letters inn bottom right of screen to pop up after you habe mounted ONLY WATCH FOR THE TEXT.not the bucking. Tame 130+ and u cam knock out about 80% of things. (I even buck kicked a quetzal stuck in a rock) and have tamed 3 150 trikes with it. HORSES OP!

Awesome for early game. Use it for hunting or taming by knocking out your prey

Um I would recommend to waut until u have carrots cuz berries take forever.

On mobile don’t use soothing balm on them it only works for the first feed

To tame:

Bolas

4 Wood fence foundation

8 wood wall

Use bola on equus use 4 wood fence foundation surround it then use 8 wood wall then done 👍

If you don't have an RG and you want a pony, just do the exact thing every equestrian on the planet knows NOT to do, and come up directly behind it, feed carrot, back away. Repeat. It will take forever and no, when I tried to use a balm it did not work because balms are only for KO.

If you dont have an argy just tame it in the wild and dont get of the horse it spins around for me i think? Up if this helps!

I got lucky taming this thing the second time (please note for beginners you hav to be level ten which I didn’t realise)I think if you can make a pen u should cud unless u r lucky like me they just run across the map into the jaws of a allo or somin never to be seen again.Hope this was helpful as I hadn’t see any tips saying about level or anything.you find them in the north east of the map and u can also spawn their as a bigginer to Ragnarock.

Easy to tame on mobile: just sneak up from behind it ( I was wearing ghillie outfit) and mount it. Then feed it rockarrots. Didn’t take long and now I have the loveliest creature on ark, named he Bryja

@Aubrey yes but u would have to get out of render and come back to make it unaggro after it got out of the bola

Ppl say they r annoying to tame but once you have ur first u can whip other ones into taming pens or if ur high level and have an argie u can drop them in 1

I feel dizzy after taming this horse, and I have a headache after doing it too😂

Does anybody know that if I were to immobilize the Equus, THEN get on and feed it a rockarrot, does it still tame?

There is 3 horses in ark ps4 xbox and pc there is q normal horse, abb horse, and the all mighty unicorn!

For everyone wanting to know what lazy equus means, it means the equus won’t have as much stam or speed as normal equus. It’s best to just kill them.

Knock it out and then build a pen or box around it. Then wakes it up and easy tame. Good luck guys!

They are hard to get in the game

This creature is very good you dont need a saddle to ride it but its better with saddle so your equus has armor and also has motar and pestle so if you forget your narcotics boom you can make narcotics its win win🙂

How to tame equus:

Method 1: argy trap

Step 1: build a 1x1 box out of any material in a safe location the walls are 1 wall high

Step 2: locate equus

Step 3: pick up equus with argy and bring it to the box

Step 4: feed it (i recommend rockarots)and immediatly interact again to mount it

Step 5: feed it again everytime you are prompted to:

its jumping furiously around? Feed

Step 6: repeat step 5 until its tamed

Method 2: rare flower trap (this works in theory i havent tested it but its probably gonna work)

Step 1: build a medium sized box about 4x4 with walls around (and a doorframe somewhere ) with a ramp up one side

Step 2: locate equus

Step 3: eat rare flower and run up the ramp into the trap and when equus is inside the trap get out through the doorframe

Step 4,5 and 6: same as method 1

Hope this helped if you need more help i can recommend a youtuber called Tecorsuh on youtube he does really great taming tutorials wich are easy to follow and understand also he provides you with information about the taming duration and recommended taming food and some neat tips at the end of every tutorial plus he is still updating old tutorial because of changes with the dino or other.
