I got lucky taming this thing the second time (please note for beginners you hav to be level ten which I didn’t realise)I think if you can make a pen u should cud unless u r lucky like me they just run across the map into the jaws of a allo or somin never to be seen again.Hope this was helpful as I hadn’t see any tips saying about level or anything.you find them in the north east of the map and u can also spawn their as a bigginer to Ragnarock.

They are hard to get in the game

This creature is very good you dont need a saddle to ride it but its better with saddle so your equus has armor and also has motar and pestle so if you forget your narcotics boom you can make narcotics its win win🙂

How to tame equus:

Method 1: argy trap

Step 1: build a 1x1 box out of any material in a safe location the walls are 1 wall high

Step 2: locate equus

Step 3: pick up equus with argy and bring it to the box

Step 4: feed it (i recommend rockarots)and immediatly interact again to mount it

Step 5: feed it again everytime you are prompted to:

its jumping furiously around? Feed

Step 6: repeat step 5 until its tamed

Method 2: rare flower trap (this works in theory i havent tested it but its probably gonna work)

Step 1: build a medium sized box about 4x4 with walls around (and a doorframe somewhere ) with a ramp up one side

Step 2: locate equus

Step 3: eat rare flower and run up the ramp into the trap and when equus is inside the trap get out through the doorframe

Step 4,5 and 6: same as method 1

Hope this helped if you need more help i can recommend a youtuber called Tecorsuh on youtube he does really great taming tutorials wich are easy to follow and understand also he provides you with information about the taming duration and recommended taming food and some neat tips at the end of every tutorial plus he is still updating old tutorial because of changes with the dino or other.

They can be so skittish and if your a beginner they will nock you out as I found out still trying to tame one till this day

Where do u find these I only saw 2 and they got killed by allos rip level 150 equus

I would tame this but you have to hand feed it it can run fast and has a utility saddle

For everyone wanting to know what lazy equus means, it means the equus won’t have as much stam or speed as normal equus. It’s best to just kill them.

Maybe the best thing for knocking things with tamed me a tapejara 3 dire wolves an argy a pteranodon a raptor a rex an anky couple parasaurs a bronto and a lot more 11/10 for knocking put most points in stamina weight health movement and damage

They reduce weight of Cactus Sap. Extremely helpful as it's hard to get loads back to another server with the transfering process as is. Oh and BTW use chainsaw

I found a unicorn once so I picked it up with my argy and took it to my passive tame “trap” and since I’m on mobile I found out I can only use Griffen kibble to tame :/. Wish I could tame it

Tame one of these guys if you ave a lot of time on your hands never had one before but am still trying I keep forgetting to feed it so I get kicked off they run really fast so it hard for me to catch up so please don’t be like me feed it so you don’t get kicked off 😇

Guess this could have gone on the unicorn page. Nevermind. I need help. Im doing save data to find it in the dungeon boss room, but its a 1-500 chance. I am not good with the whole manage save data- but I thought if you pulled up a new save if you didn’t get the noctis it could be on the boss spawner y’know? So- if you can please help! Thanks. Use mejo or carrot, and build a pen

beware of the carnos, istg those horny bastards will kill anything that moves

You must be very sneaky, if you scare them they are very fast they won't calm down till your out of there render

Also if you have rock carrots use them !

U can usually find the equus around/near the beach but I usually find the equus in the jungle near the swamp on the south beach

If you are going after a high level. Tame a low level first and use the lasso to drag the high level into a pen. If the eqqus is still aggroed onto you log out then back in.

it's easier to grab one with an argentavis and take it to a fence to make sure it doesn't run away.
