Very easy to KO, just walk backwards while firing at its head with a tranq weapon. Don’t shoot when they ball up or else you will waste ammo (even if you hit its head while its balled up it won’t give torpor)

I have two methods of knoking it out

If you are a solo you need trank darts

If you have a friend and a argy one of you picks it up while the other shots it in the stomach

I once knocked one out with a sling shot in the red woods

The Regular Kibble restores 85 entities of the hunger not 50

The bola does actually effect it, it makes it to where it cannot go into its shell and you can shoot it in the head with tranqs

If you deal too much damage to them while knocking them out and they turn into a ball, you can use a yutyrannus to fear roar them and they will run away, forgetting they’re supposed to stay in the ball, and you can continue knocking them out without the resistance.

Still no way for it to gather its own berries/ food

Do not use bolas because they are immune to them so just tranq it and give it crops mostly carrots or meoberries if you dont have any crops.

Bring some narcos their tarpor goes down a little quick

Find one in the redwoods bring berries then shoot tranq arrows on it’s head (don’t shoot it on his/her shell) shoot tranq arrows while walking backwards. don't worry he is very slow it cannot hit you while moving backwards then when its knocked out put wall spikes beside the Doedicurus so that other animals cannot kill it

If you place a bunch of wooden signs around the creature then you can shoot it in the head easily without wasting any tranqs

Don't waste your arrow when they are in its shell and aim for first arrow on its face then he will start running towards you then knock it out. Location - Mountains but low level good for starting games

A lvl 100 does NOT take 36 arrows to fall, I just blew though 50 and it’s still kicking

Use for stone not metal use ankylo for metal instead

Shoot tranqs at the head it will sleep fast

Do not tame one of these with berries if you don’t have much time! They take really long to tame!

Doedics only roll up into their ball once they've lost 2/3rds of their health. So if you have a injured doedic you want to tame, just make sure you won't bring it below 1/3rd of its max health. Hope this helps

Shoot the head as you walk backwards away from it, then run next adjacent to it when it runs away.

I just caught one with patchy nd my sling shot for thqt u have to increase ur movement speed to 140 or more
