How to tame a doedicurus

Step 1: find a place where doedicurus spawn

Step 2: knock them out (don't deal to much damage while knocking them out or else the curl up into a ball which makes them impossible to tame)

Step 3: feed them plants such as berries🫐 or potatoes🥔

Step 4: wait for them to be tamed

Useing a cross bow does work to nock them out, I just tried it.

If you thinking taming one is tough and need lot of narcotics. No they don’t . Its easy

1) first you have to trap then in an enclosed structure using any flyer.

2) then you have to craft a bed aside and go for a sleep

3) after u woke up knock then and feed them just berries.

They will be having no food in their inventory so they tame up in an minute

And this tip applies for every dino save your time buddies.

Guess what I Will Tell you this tip to get a doedicurus At a low level (10+ 20+) well first You need a raft Put some foundation in the raft and make The SIMPLIEST Taming pen Well Its just a 2x2 Trap. you don't know what's a 2x2 its just one foundation sorrunded By Door frames

To find one its simple go to the moshpit What's a moshpit Its a Place where nearly all Dinos Spawn Actively They are easy to find its just At the Top Left at your map Near to the artic Once you reach there you will find a Big Black Boulder and that is where you find It but don't Get off the raft and set foot because I said A moshpit is an active spawn with nearly all the creatures in ark so that means Rex,raptor'car no'argentavis'sabertooth'Scorpions'

OK then if you manage to find one Agro on it and lead it to the trap. Make sure The area is clear or else..

When taming it, use stimberrys because it constantly eats it and it's taming goes up with it. After it has eaten them all put in the berries you have chose. However it does not increase the taming a lot, only a small bit at a time.

They take very short damage so you use arrows

How come no one ever knocks down a high lvl with crossbow and use stim berrys for there first doedic it well be faster thos starting from nothing then trying to get kibble and a garden or even getting metal for a rifle its easy stim berrys dont give food but are a consistent feed but u lose all ur lvls for thos who just need a doedic quick this is the best way

It says you need to tranq it 19 times but i shot it 70+ and it's still concious

Have a good crossbow and 2 stacks of arrows if you don't, knock it out twice too save narcotics

Year of 2020. I have just managed to knock it out after 200 ish tranqs from a prim crossy. Now god knows how long i have to wait for it to starve so it can eat my berrys. This is also for a lvl 50 doedic 😑

I used a spear and I killed it.

Recommend using tranq darts. When it ball up just shoot it’s feet duhhhhh

Doeds are super easy to tame if you follow this guide, right so make a foundation that's stone at least, then snap 4 door frames on each side. If you have an Argy then just pick him up and drop him in, but if you don't just build a ramp going up the trap so you can lead him in because when hit they are aggressive. Then use some tranq arrows to knock him out if he balls then make sure to hit his head spot still you can check with the magnifying glass. Give him either mejoberries or crops. Once tamed pop a saddle on him and you will be ready to grind stone!
