ARK: Survival Evolved & Ascended Companion
Tips & Strategies
Earlier I was on ARK Mobile. I have a massive wall around my base so my creatures can walk around in it. I went to my Doedicurus to put a saddle on it when I discovered it had almost 1300 stone in its inventory. Doedicurus when wandering autonomously destroy rocks to collect stones.
Not sure where this goes but if u place a spike wall in front of them and when their health is low enough they have to turn into a ball and be stuck in a constant cycle until the spike wall is removed. It's a great way if you find one and want to tame it later. Unless it gets killed by something else while in a ball it should be fine. I stil have one stuck on one of my walls and ima keep it ther until I can tame it for stones.
If you take a snow owl you can heal it when it balls up. Once it's health is up it will come out of the ball and you can continue to tranquilize it.
Space out the tranq arrows so it doesn’t ball up I say every 5 seconds blow up for noobs
Pretty much the only option that is both cheap and viable to get stone. Yeah there's the metal hatchet, but it's slow as hell. Essential tame, if you don't like getting your walls wrecked by trike charges. Also big weight reduction on stone, so it's even better with an argentavis or something like that
We can all agree riding it and getting stone is sometimes a pain and a risk when your are low lvl so just put it on wandering grab it with an arge then get closer to rocks then boom you got yourself some stones and it also can be used to collect thatch and you don’t have to put him down while carrying him with an arge when collecting stones just get closer to the rock . Hope this was helpful :)
This dino can now collect element dust from light posts on extinction your welcome.
Torpor rate actually slower than most now
When taming and it balls up, it will unball when it poops, but will still have the 90% damage reduction until it starts moving again. Just be patient and wait for it to move, it is not glitches.
These guys could shell themselves up and so it’s harder to kill them lol
Have a mate pick it up with an Argy then as they hover above you you can shoot it in the underside and knock it out much quicker. Bring Regular Kibble or it's a SLOW tame!
