Most OP dino. Leave a team in the Volcano on the Island next to the blackstone. You have yourself a Stone, Obsidian and Metal Ore farm. Get yourself a chem bench, fabricator and a decent Megatherium in the Redwoods cave. You have yourself a decent Polymer production line.

It gather very lot of element dust from lamp on extinction. I ever saw someone attacking defense unit corpse with this guy, then he give up and use his metal pick. What a nub, he thought he can gather an element from a corpse. It gather 700+ element from lamp with only 1 swing. Try on

Well I was shooting with darts in the head and still rolled in to a ball and afther he came out I shot 200 darts in the head still nothing so I left it it was a 145

It poops a lot when farming. It can give medium poop!.

carryable by karkinos. you can use the crab to hold two and hold them over rocks, they will collect them automatically!

It's tamable under lvl 30 and ridable under 40.

For both MOBILE & PC

1) You'll find them the most in redwood area. Use a doedicurus location map from google.

2) craft wooden spike wall x4, tranq arrows & some narcotics.

3) use ptera (safest & fastest) or any other mount.

4) whistle your tame and set it to passive. knock one doedy using a tranq arrow. Shoot them in the head or tail. They can't run fast so you will be safe.

5) after it gets knocked place the spike walls around it.

6) feed kibble.

I see tons of these walking bowling balls all over aberration, and a lot of them are in the fertile lake area. If you see one, start shooting it in the head with tranq darts. Arrows do more damage but if you don’t have access to darts yet, you can use them. If you do end up using the arrows, wait 5 seconds before every shot to do max torpor with minimum damage. Once tamed these things can roll like a ball, gather stone like BONKERS, and have decent defense. Although, I still wouldn’t recommend attacking a rex with it. Overall, it is a good tame for early game stone gathering.

These spawn quite literally EVERYWHERE on scorched earth. Just walk 2 feet and BOOM. Watch out for terror birds tho.

it does collect obsidian on mobile.

Pump melee and will get more stone let an argy be its weight

I would discribe the doedicurus as: they see me rollin

Pretty slow so just walk back and if they get close enough to atk U will already be out of their range and aim for head (if it's a low lvl U might have to use tranq darts)

Have a friend pick one up and hold it with an argy while you tranq it. Can’t ball up and your shooting it from underneath anyway. Or, you can use a longneck and tranq darts to knock them out before they even take enough damage to ball up in the first place.

It's a fast swimmer also u can roll in mobile by swiping up on the left side

The doedicurus gather the same amount of stone being any level does not matter which level you tame it and is perfect for farming element in extinction if you do not have mana or giga to do an ele vein

They can roll and when they roll they are fun to roll down mountains they can move faster than a theri running and chalico so they are fast when Rollin the world must know they can roll!

I flew around on my argey looking for one on the closest mountain (the one in the redwoods) and found one within a minute, scooped it up and went back home then put it in a trap then I took a nap so that it starves so it would tame faster.

2 tranq arrows to the head with a compound bow and it was out cold. I’m feeding it rn with mejoberries and it took literally 30 seconds to tame
