I flew around on my argey looking for one on the closest mountain (the one in the redwoods) and found one within a minute, scooped it up and went back home then put it in a trap then I took a nap so that it starves so it would tame faster.

2 tranq arrows to the head with a compound bow and it was out cold. I’m feeding it rn with mejoberries and it took literally 30 seconds to tame

Very useful for collecting resources especially sand, also very good for protection, how to tame: grab 3 boomerangs, throw one at the creature to get it angry then just keep throwing the boomerang at its face even if it runs away then when its unconscious feed it berry's, this tactic is only useful for a low level one and only works in scorched earth. Up if useful.

If youre on scorched earth use a boomerang, I knocked a lv 50 out in less than 2 minutes

With the new updates, this creature no longer harvests obsidian.

Have a friend pick one up and hold it with an argy while you tranq it. Can’t ball up and your shooting it from underneath anyway. Or, you can use a longneck and tranq darts to knock them out before they even take enough damage to ball up in the first place.

The easiest way to hunger an animal is by sleeping it out. Capture and wait till night,sleep than tranq it.This apply in mobile I'm not sure for pc or console. Good luck.

Shockingly this creature swims well, very well. One could even level stamina health and dmg to use in pvp as a glorified submarine

You can get it to go Sonic the hedgehog with the left trigger while riding one of these. Useful to escape predators while getting stone.

Just a quick tip, dont get a high level one of these or an anky when using em for harvesting. Instead breed you an Argy specializing in weight and fly the doe/anky around to the stone/metal spots. Gather manually via doe/anky

Don't use a taming pen as it makes headshots near impossible. Drop it near your base and backpedal while shooting darts into its face.

You can actually get these to charge by left swipe on mobile.

I have found that a few spawn in consistent at the Red Wood Forest.

This dude can harvest stone like it’s nothing. Seriously this thing saved so much of my time and effort on building a big stone base.

Use a slingshot walk backwards and shoot it u will need about 40 stones its a simple tame

To tame these guys easy enough. Use an argie to throw them in a tame trap using door frames and maybe a Dino door. Then shoot them with tranq darts and longneck rifle.

Surprisingly enough they’re amazing swimmers. Faster in the water then on land, they have no trouble taking on a megalodon (mobile)

This creature is tied for the 2nd best Element Dust gatherer in the game. If you need element dust, use one of these!

you can definetly tame these with tranq arrows. put some wooden spikes around it and feed it soothing balm if you can. you dont need too much narcotics if you use soothing balm

The doe can get more stone from river rocks than ordinary rocks (remember it only gets stone)
