a cute, simple little bird. they come in slightly different sizes. easy to tame by knocking it out with your fists and feeding it various berries, mejoberries work best. they are pretty much useless unfortunately, so they mostly just make cute little pets. the only thing i guess they can do is carry a little bit of weight for you if you're a beginner, but they're already very slow so that'll just make them really sluggish. they're mostly only good for sitting around and looking cute.

On mobile they can be breed for larger or small sizes.If you breed the for smaller size they can be shoulder tames

Whistle a dodo aggressive on a sleeping player in pvp. Your dodo will take the blame for the kill.

You can use this little critter as a storage unit. Don’t bother pumping levels into weight, just health. You see, all of your tames have 600 slots, and you don’t need it to move it so... its like an extremely overpowered storage box that you feed berries.

Tame them and use them for dodoball games! (My variation is more like dodgeball-hockey-soccer-basketball but do whatever you want)

Easiest way to tame weak carnivorous (dimetrodon, for exemple) :

1rst : build a trap, to let your beloved victim falls in

2nd : get an agressive, (but the weakest you'd find) dodo on your shoulder

3rd : start the knock out process, for the next taming

4rth : as soon as the victim's HP are too low to keep the knockout, release the dodo

The the dodo would attack directly the tame, so you really don't want a high level one ;

At the really 1rst dodo's attack, you'd whistle passive

By this way, the tamin would agro on the big bird, eats it, heal back, while you'd keep knocking it

1.Tame high level ones.

2.Breed them until they only have points in health, damage, and stamina

Do this until reaching level cap (mobile default is 1000)

3. Get around 100 of these.

4. Let them attack a Giga.

5. Question your live.

Since this is generally a first breed for new players, I’ll put this here: to hatch an egg, drop it near a fire pit. Once it hatches, you need to claim it, or it will die. After doing so, add berries to its inventory and manually feed them till about 10% maturity. After that, they can eat on their own.

Useful as fertilizer generators, food generators, and they’re easy to tame. The most useful reason though is the bombs, always bombs.

Just make a farm and get dodo eggs

Dodos are actually very good as a starter tame. They can make dodo kibbles (if you are on mobile ore switch) you can tame pteranodons which can make you travel ANYWHERE. Plus, they are good carnivore distractions when you are trying to run away from that raptor pack that invaded your thatch house and settled down there to wage war on you...

Here is one of their best uses, your gonna want high level small dodos and then you are gonna take 10 of them to the skylord. They can be used as reinforcements and as bait so here is my idea

(10 level 100+ dodos) you are going to walk in skylord with one dodo following you a dodo following the dodo that followed you and so on. The come in as a line and you fight the onyc alone you line five-three dodos up against the room you turn right into. Then in the next room you set up 4 dodos Than with the other 1-3 you will build foundations around the jump thing and bring the dodos across. You make the dodos protect you as you get the artifact. Than you kill any enemies that attacked you. Than you get whatever dodos are left and go back the way you came mad you can do it again except next time you will problably only want dodos after that cause after having those 10 bodyguards you found out how to do it

(Do cave 1-3 times with dodos to get the hang of it and then you can do the rest solo)

Tips for 8 Dodos

1 put 3 of them to fight a Carbonemys

2 put 5 Dodos to fight a Sarco

3 put all of your dodos to fight a level 11 Phiomia!
