There's so easy to tame bro you ligit can use your first with like 10 mejoberrys for a lvl 50 or something

Mejoberries are the most common ones in ARK. For a level 1 dodo 7 mejoberries is enough to tame it. They are great soldiers and will protect you

1. Tame a titanosaur

2. Tame 6 gigas

3. Wear ascendant armor

4. Get cannons on ur quetzal

5. Attack the DODO

A good method of getting a good dodo is by the size because a engram lets it become stronger also if your gonna tame a dodo get the biggest one outta group feed it berries after it is knocked out cold

When they can’t catch up with you, they do an adorable little run.

These things are OP I tamed them once and one killed a sarco. To this day I have never seen a warrior this powerful.

This is unrelated to the dodo and or taming it. I just wanted to find the closest to relevant place to post some advice for raising eggs. When I'm between periods of incubation, store eggs immediately, otherwise a Dino can eat if from your inventory while you're running around. Once I was raising an argy egg when it got too hot so I picked it up till nightfall hit. This egg was at 3% incubation with merely minutes left and I went out to get meat for the Newley hatched baby as it was close to being born when a little birdy swooped by and ate it from my inventory, costing me nearly 3 hours of time, and causing me to wait for the parents to be able to mate again. Sorry for the inconvenient location of this tip.

First get the pursuit if your mobile, if your not then you can’t get pursuits first get club like it says then find dodo and knock it out and give it berries then you get 100 exp from the pursuit again if your on another platform then no pursuits but it is very weak so just use kill button it on top left and go tame a dilophosaurus or carbonemys but first get dilophosaurus hope you liked this! Don’t know why I did this because everyone knows how to do it.

Usually a few punches knock these things out once you do feed it Berry's (any type) just remember to watch out for predators who eat dodos!

How2Tame #1: Dodo

Welcome to How2Tame, where I, Zeta, teach everyone how to tame the magnificent creatures that ARK supplies! First up, Dodo. See tame steps below...

1. Gather many berries (Mejoberry is best) or perhaps seeds and Rockarrot.

2. Locate a Dodo and punch it a few times. The number of punches will depend on the varying amount of torpidity tolerance the Dodo has. Lower levels have low tolerance, as high levels have high tolerance...

3. The Dodo should be knocked out by the time you move on to the next step. Open the creature's inventory and place vegetables or berries in it. Do not feed it Stimberry, though, as this is known to make the torpor amount decrease very fast.

4. After the taming meter reaches 100, you have tamed yourself a Dodo! Give him or her a name and put it in an enclosure or hut with a secure roof and door (so you can let it wander around). Make sure to put new berries into the Dodo's inventory daily so that it does not run out of nourishment. Don't worry about water, though, tames do not need to drink water.

Do not try tame these things. They will kill you. If you do try to tame it though then bring 250 trank darts.

With this creature you can put it anywhere in your base and it’s automatically a 280 slot storage

Ok guys I love dodos they are so easy to tame I love watching them follow me around. The best thing about the dodo is that they have very nutritional (and easy to get) eggs that can heal u and give you energy. So I made a dodo egg farm. To make a egg farm is simple. Tame 3-5 female dodos to start. Make a pen of any shape and size, a small to medium farm doesn’t need a lot of space just make it secure. Once the dodos are situated in there pen put 2 or 3 berries in each of their innovatory so you can go awhile with out checking them. Let them wander in their pen and soon your girls will start laying eggs for you to eat. Only put a male in the pen if you want him to fertilize the eggs so they hatch. I usually put all the females in the pens then take the males out to hunt or gather with me. If you disable wandering and don’t go to fast your males won’t get lost. I hope this was helpful.🙂
