Robert, or Bob, was a very, very strange man. Antisocial, he distanced himself from all other humans. Anybody who met him would tell you that something was…off. He always carried a pungent odor, as noted by many survivors. He also always spent his time nude. Never wore clothes. He repulsed everyone. At least, every human. You see, Bob had a ludicrously sized flock of dodos living in his shack. He had a…connection with them. People would note the strange noises they made as they went past the hut. Almost as if he was…talking to them. One day, somebody went to chat with Bob, to see if they could come to understand him. However, as they walked into the doorless doorframe, they saw a horrid sight. Bob lay dead, blood running out of his ears, eyes, mouth, and nose. His eyes were bulging, red with blood. It seemed there was vomit and…human waste…on the floor. A horrible odor punched this poor survivor in the nose. They retched and ran, as far as they could. Nobody ever spoke of Bob again.
DO NOT underestimate these little stinkers. I have 8 to 10 of these guys in a large enclosure, and somehow, a carbomenys got in there. I accidently punched it while following it around trying to figure out what to do about it. While, naturally it got pissed off! I backed on out of the enclosure to let it cool off. I went back in, expecting dead dodos and a still pissed off carbomenys. I got in there, not one single dead dodo, dead carbomenys. You get a group of them, they can be quite a force to be reckoned with. Although I get weirded out when I go to collect eggs and they all follow me around (without my commands) and stare at me the entire time.
Goodbye forever ark i quit forever it keeps crashing idc what u say the game is amazing but the devs are the worst humans on earth they dont care about the bugs at all i hate it frick ark i hate ark i used to love it but now i hate it i made so much progress but now i have to quit i couldnt even achieve my dream of getting a giganotosaur :(
OK soooo here’s a tip: throw these in a fight against a sarco. Why? BECAUSE FOR SOME REASON SARCOS CANT ATTACK DODOS/LYSROS
I ONCE HAD A DODO KILL NOT 1, NOT 2, BUT 3 SARCOS IN THE SPAN OF A FEW MINUTES
IMAGINE A MESSAGE APPEARING ON YOUR SCREEN THAT SAYS
“Your sacrifice (level 4 dodo) killed a sarco level 2”

They spent the rest of the day hunting. Crimson caught several dodos and some jerboas. Rosie however didn’t catch much. She either pounced to far or accidentally scared the prey away. “I can’t catch anything.” She complained to her mother. “It’s ok darling, u just need to practice.” Amy said encouragingly. Finally the wolf family headed home with their kills. That night they feasted on the meat of all the prey they took the lives of.
Later after dinner Crimson and his family curled up in the sleeping room of their den. Rosie curled up next her mother and father. “Mommy?” Asked Rosie. “Hmm?” Amy answered. “Can u sing me a bed song I can’t sleep.” Amy nodded, then began. Her voice was sweet and gentle.
“Somewhere over the rainbow way
up high there’s a land that I heard of
once in a lullaby. Somewhere over the
rainbow skies are blue. Someday
I’ll wish upon a star and wake up
where the clouds are far behind me.
Where troubles melt like lemon
drops…”
She continued to sing but Crimson was soon fast asleep from her beautiful lullaby…
