if u are new to ark then yes u can tame one or two but don't let ot get tooo much. i know they are cute but that's it. they are not helpful and u need to take care of them. i had so much of them and it broke my heart to kill them because i couldn't tame more dinosaurs

Dodos drop feathers at around 1.55 size

Easiest way to tame weak carnivorous (dimetrodon, for exemple) :

1rst : build a trap, to let your beloved victim falls in

2nd : get an agressive, (but the weakest you'd find) dodo on your shoulder

3rd : start the knock out process, for the next taming

4rth : as soon as the victim's HP are too low to keep the knockout, release the dodo

The the dodo would attack directly the tame, so you really don't want a high level one ;

At the really 1rst dodo's attack, you'd whistle passive

By this way, the tamin would agro on the big bird, eats it, heal back, while you'd keep knocking it

I had 2 dodos: Silverie and Goldie. I attacked a stuck parasaur, and it ran away, but my dodos were on attack target, so Silverie ran after it. It was too late to change her to passive, so Silverie got ambushed by a dilo. They attacked each other, so Goldie came in. He wasn’t on passive, either, so him and Silverie attacked the dilo together. The dilo killed Silverie, but I didn’t care that much. What I cared for was Goldie. I hoped he would win, but the dilo killed him, too. I miss him so much. 💔 😢

For preparing to tame this terrifying creature here is a list of things I recommend 2 sets of tek gear, 2 ascendant longnecks, 5000 shocking tranqs, and 1000000 mutton.

I tamed my first dodo by knocking it with my wooden club. Then I gave it an azulberry and Banda boom I now have it

Once I decided to put a c4 on a dodo and then when I blew it up it was still there and then it full on charged me and killed me and I was like what the heck man!?

Dodos are beginner dodos so its best if you get a group of them level them ul then use them to fight they can be found in open areas and eat berries mejo berries are recommended its better if you knockthem out with fist or you might accidently kill them. I hope you have a good day

1.Tame high level ones.

2.Breed them until they only have points in health, damage, and stamina

Do this until reaching level cap (mobile default is 1000)

3. Get around 100 of these.

4. Let them attack a Giga.

5. Question your live.

1. Gather at least 100 berry’s

2. Make a club (4 wood and 15 fibre)

3. Keep on hiting dodo until KO

4. Put berry’s in dodo

5. If unconscious goes under quarter, feed narcoberrys

6. Name your new friend
