Breeding not-so-basics 101:
Incubation: surround the egg in a ring of torches (recommend standing) and light them wooden poles on fire, if it says too hot, turn off a torch. Too cold? Light one up. If it is just right, there should be no “Too Hot!” Or “Too Cold!” Sign and should say “Incubating (10:00:00)” or something like that and the teal blue bar should go down. But if the red bar is going down instead of the blue, check the egg conditions again. If the red bar reaches zero, it cracks and it disappears. But if it hatches correctly, y’a got a baby creature, hooray!
Imprinting: this one’s a doozie, so imma make it simple. Imprinting is a OPTIONAL a thing to do. “But why so many YouTubers like Syntac do it???” Shush, I was gonna get to that. Imprinting provides health and damage bonuses, being best i remember +50% or 1.5x stats. But how do you imprint? Oh it’s easy. Once you have a baby dino and NOT let it starve (it can’t eat until it’s a juvenile) sooner or later it wants care, coming from a cuddle, walk, cooked prime fish meat… EXTRAORDINARY KIBBLE?!? Yeah there’s a lot it can range from. And it varies per dino per imprint method per server settings, so if you have a giga you wanna imprint and the imprint times only like 10 seconds, each single imprint will make such a small dent it’s like trying to blow away the moon with your breath, it’s gonna take a bit, again. Depending on your settings
Age Stages: the shortest one of them all. So imma make this really wasteful of vertical space
Baby: 1/10 of max hp and weight i think
Juvenile: can start eating from troughs, i haven’t really cared much about baby stats so I’m just guessing 1/2 of max hp and weight
Adolescent: 3/4 Of max hp and weight, I think it can start attacking, idk what or how much it does compared to fully grown
Adult/mature: fully grown, 100% usage of health and weight bars. That’s basically it

More Dodo Taming & KO Tips
Taming a dodo is super EASY!
But good for first Dino 😄
if u are new to ark then yes u can tame one or two but don't let ot get tooo much. i know they are cute but that's it. they are not helpful and u need to take care of them. i had so much of them and it broke my heart to kill them because i couldn't tame more dinosaurs
Dodos are quite easy to tame, and have few uses, but here’s a guide anyway.
1. Find a dodo, they are found on the southwest, south, and southeast beaches, sometimes they are in the jungle next to the beaches.
2. Easiest way to knock out a dodo is to use fists, however it’s sometimes problematic with high level high health dodos, so I recommend a club or slingshot. Tranq arrows are kind of a waste, and can kill the dodo depending on level. No trap is needed because the player is able to outrun the dodo
3. Mejos work great, and won’t really affect the effectiveness so I recommend those, you won’t need narcs, and it is a quick tame, so just sit by it until it’s up

Alright so this is how to tame a dodo for newbies
1: get some berries (make sure it’s a decent amount so you don’t run out)
2: find a dodo and punch it/club it until it's unconscious
3: feed the dodo the berries (give it more as needed)
4:you have a dodo! Give him a name and enjoy 😊
20 metal behemoth gates
Ascended longneck rifle 150+ traq darts
5 lvl 150+ Giganotosaurus for sacrifice
You also gotta wear the dodo wyvern mask skin
I hatched triplets, two died within seconds, one survived and she is the chosen one
From what I have heard you can breed dodos to be so big you can ride without saddle, or you can breed so small it can sit on your shoulder. Working on breeding them big. To breed small/big then just breed your biggest/smallest dodos together. Hope this helps. if helpful 👆, if unhelpful 👇
My friend had a dodo... and it has like 8000% melee damage and 2000 health.... the most op thing we have tamed

1 get high level dodo army
2 get a quetz and have a platform for it then throw in enemies base
3 whistle aggressive
4 add more dodos
5 this is just a passive prank. if you want to be a bit more mean get a bunch of raptors and then start from step 2. press arrow that points to the top of the arrow if helpful. i never get many so just if you can
