Taming & KO Tips

How do I tame a diplodocus? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a diplodocus.
It says ok tame but it’s passive tame-L shadowmane
If you are passive taming it try to get in the middle of front legs where it can’t hit you but won’t move to get you
When taming a diplo, stand up against a cliff because the do knock you back and might knock you towards a dangerous dinosaur or off a cliff
You can use the tails hitbox to tame it
Most hardheaded Dino in ark BECAUSE when you feed it it starts attacking you if you punch it the taming meter goes down to ZERO good luck taming one of these 😊😊
Just stand behind his frontlegs and it doesn’t move anymore and won’t be able to hit you
These guys are not as mean as a couple of other Dino’s because they are a passive tame but if you are cruel and mean you can tranq it out but also crops don’t work as they say and also don’t hit after starting a passive tame because the effect will go down and these Dino’s don’t harm you so don’t panic if he charges at you his hits only have knock back because they are play full Dino’s and I think the saddle has 11seats so take your friends because the Dino can knock your target back and you guys can jump off and fire of if you want you can make them all pay to get on you’ll end out with tons of good things(unless they secretly stand up and tranq you and take you out and to request your Dino it has to lose everything in its inventory and then that’s a bad idea)
Been trying to passive tame a 150 female for 20 mins now. Starting to reconsider because she won't eat my damn kibble but she's eating everything else in sight.
#savethediplos I agree help them if u see them being attacked they are totally underrated go tame on now.
Ps.Now means NOW
Remco The Quick
Stand underneath them while you’re taming to keep from getting pushed around by them..you can also see when it’s ready to be fed again!
I'm a level 11 at the time I tamed one not hard, but give it the berries it wants I learned that the hard way
If you manage to get underneath it’s chest try staying still And feed it from there I have 2 that have been easily tamed this way unless my game was just glitching they couldn’t push me away and they still ate my burries
Passive works best, just run to their side and feed em.
I heavily recommend bringing an escort dino or cryopod because the areas Diplos are in are infested with predators, Diplos have no way to defend themselves aside from knockback.
The easiest spot to avoid being pushed away is in between it’s front legs. It will sit there and repeatedly do the pushing motion but you will remain untouched so you can tame it without running all around trying to get near it.
Well there is easy trick to tame these guys ,
1) Build 2-3 walls or simply a room enough to fit a diplo so other carnivore cannot attk it while u are taming ( have w window or something from where y can feed it) ,
2) Once u loose aggro, Diplo will continue to attack ur walls which makes them Hungry fast Than U loosing aggro and they wandering around.
If this goes Well up it so other can Try it out too
It doesn’t take savoroot to feed it.
For Abberant Diplos; passive tame by feeding amarberries
Try your best to stand under it , when you look up you will look at its tummy ,but there he cant hit you away, so you can feed it as it gets hungry and you dont have to move or anyting, it wont step on you either so your save and its easy, just make sure you have alot of berries.
Scorpions don’t work anymore for regular kibble but I suggest using ankys Because they are an easy tame and they work for kibble
Is it just me or after the first food they run out of hunger faster?
