I know people say it’s best to passive tame, but I personally KO tamed because I didn’t know. It wasn’t that bad, all you have to do is trap it with 4x4 stone trap, with a ramp. I needed like 60 traq arrows to knock it out.

They are very useful, they can carry I think 10 people at once (not sure about the number, but it’s very big). You do need metal and 800 hide though. People on the chairs not controlling the Dino can shoot things below.

They are fast, have good knock back, and have good health pool. I think its a good mid-game tame.

I would say you could use these for some metal or anything heavy to carry it is a good use for this and they are fast, so tame some and you got a giant bag that follows you, and do not bring them into the wild.

How to tame a diplodocus:

-There are two methods to tame a diplodocus! Passive taming and knockout taming. I will explain both.

Passive taming:

1. You need to get a bunch of berries, veggies, or preferred kibbles.

2. Then get under the diplodocus, that way it can't hit you and send you halfway across the map.

3. Start feeding the diplodocus, it will take a while.

Knockout taming:

1. You will also need to get under the diplodocus so it can't hit you.

2. Start shooting it with a tranquilizing ammo like tranq arrows or certain darts.

3. After it's knocked out, you might need some narcotics to keep it asleep. Feed it berries, veggies, or preferred kibbles.

-They don't deal damage but their knockback can be useful.

I just tamed it 😂 by feeding tintoberries. Much easy to tame but took 30 min approx🏴‍☠️✌️ . But yeah no use in attacking with other dino

Friends told me it's the easiest to tame noglins with since they don't damage you or the noglin

How to tame one THE EASY WAY *I think only works for mobile*

Step 1: grab some tranqs *These dudes take a bunch, if you have a OP crossbow, it should only take 1-3 arrows (I reccomend tranq)*

Step 2: knock it out

Step three: Give it kibble/Carrots

The knockback can be a pain so just go prone it won't knock you back and if you slowly go forward there's a point where the diplo continues to try to hit u but you get no knock back even when standing, hope this helps

I would recommend killing this early game it’s defenceless and drops a bunch of prime meat then with that meat go tame like a dire wolf or raptor

This Dino’s saddle has ten seats great for multiplayer

So when you see dippy you might get scared but they can’t actually do damage so they are easy passive tames and great harvesters

Beware the have some serious knockback and u can possibly get killed.

Although diplodocus are pretty good tames in my opinion, they are also great for taming carnivores! If you are taming something like a rex, carno or just some creature that likes prime meat, head to the redwoods. Even though the redwoods is dangerous, there are normally lots of diplos there. K!lling diplodocus most of the time give you prime meat! The max amount of prime I have gotten was 6️⃣ I hope this will help you tame carnivores in the future!

Very good at luring big dinos like gigas and rexes into taming pens, you can just level its health and let it facetank them and they're very expends so it's no loss if your diplo dies.

This is what I call a walking storage system, also can be a mad tank tho...

Get a diplo an and a rhynio have people sit on the diplo pick up diplo = attack helicopter if you have guns.

Just before i was passive taming this it kinda like agros onto you but it just pushes you around

Bring like 100 berries with you to passive tame him (you’ll need like 50, but bring extra berries Incase something happens when you’re trying to tame him)

I usually find them near the beach. Also, while you’re trying to tame him, be careful because he’ll push you in a playful way.

I will forever argue that this is the best first tame. On Aberration, I tamed one before I even made clothes and it saved me from several basilisks, raptors, and ravagers while carrying huge amounts of resources. Taming one is a huge head start the moment you spawn in.

Later died by jumping from green to red zone (intentionally). RIP Shipping Crate.

How to tame:

1. Trap it

2. Gather 150 Azulberries

3. Ride a fast mount (e.g Raptor, Pterodon,)

4. Feed until tamed

5. Enjoy!

Okay I’m new to mobile ark cuz I play the console version but I tried to tame this beast and it was actually not that bad cuz it only took 15 minutes then I just tamed another and another to make my army bigger :)
