What are tips for diplodocus? Tips and strategies for diplodocus in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
Passive tame them. Dont do like i did and wast a couple hundred tranqs.
This always tryna have beef with me.. Once i was upgrading my triceratops, he pushed my trice miles away.. I was like wtf is going on, wheres my trice.. Then i saw this diplo, i quickly grab my machete and chopping his legs
Once I was checking a drop by the edge of redwoods and he smacked me off the cliff right into the darn swamp.
The wait time between the first berry and the second berry is always the longest. If you stand just underneath it, between it's front legs it can't knock you back, nor will it move.
How to tame a diplo without getting knocked into the loving arms of a theri:
1. Get a moschops.
2. Ride the moschops and force it to collect berries.
3. Once you have enough berries sneak underneath it and feed it the berries. (mejo berries work best)
4. You now should have a diplo!
You can passive tame this and they play with you SO DONT TAME ON CLIFF
It does zero damage it only does knockback
They can’t knock you back if you’re on a ladder, so stay on a ladder and you’ll get a diplodicus.
They are very useful, they can carry I think 10 people at once (not sure about the number). You do need metal and 800 hide though. People on the chairs not controlling the Dino can shoot things below.
They are fast, have good knock back, and have good health pool. I think it’s a good mid-game tame.
If you manage to stand directly below them you won’t be headbutted so do that and feed it berries.enjoy your diplo!
You see all these people trying to make the Diplodocus seem innocent, however this creature ‘playfully’ threw half of my dinos into the water, which they were killed by other sea dinos. The Diplodocus then followed me and the rest of my dinos as I was trying to save them and nearly killed all of us. Stay safe.
I saw one near my some home stuck in rocks when I found out you hand feed them instead of knock out taming I was like 😱
Killed one with my trike, poor things can't do damage/:
For some reason they’re aggressive but don’t do damage? Long knock back. Probably just me.
The Dododex lies! It can break Thatch and Wood! And possibly gravity.
The diplodocus has been categorized as a large dinosaur which means them medium dinosaurs like the raptor or carno shouldn't be able to attack it
I tried passive taming a lvl40 on mobile and it only went up by 2% every feed.. takes a long time
