How to tame diplocalus

First you need a ptera. Bow or crossbow with trang arrow.

Pick diplocalus with ptera and bring it to a safe place.

Then knock it out

And feed it raw meat

And boom you have a diplocalus

So easy figured I would use it to get pearls for trading has really good movement speed and is basically a rideable scuba gear

Easiest way I’ve found to tame one is to build a box around the center of an obelisk and resurrect it since few to no hostile dinos spawn there to begin with

Ok so I though this was going to be hard af to do it was easy I used a pterodactyl and stalked him till he came out I left to go grab some more food for me and I came back and he was out of the water I fell down and got back up very quickly thank lord bc u wanna die go the the swamp so I was scared for my life that everyone was going to die and I just got back quickly but it worked out my pterodactyl got full Energy to pick up and fly to the safe place (no place is safe) he went out so BOOM I got him we flew and I dropped him bc I was going to fall and he was running away so I shot him 3 times tranq arrow and he was down I was slow bc he can die quickly gave him meat and now I am waiting which is taking forever going to name him Dip and Chips

Use the boala, it works, even if theyre in the water. I got about 7 shot off on it before it broke free and swam a little before passing out

Mainly found in swamps. They don't have much health so kill everything hostile around to ensure its safety, then just put the correct kibble or prime meat and tame it.

Seriously you don’t. They 99/100 get killed by Sarcos, sneks and Pihranas. If you do manage to somehow find one before its killed, well better hope you brought your trusty Assault Rifle or else it will get killed.

Really good for collecting deep sea crates. Just upgrade stamina and health, it's movement makes it faster than all other sea Dino's.

Pro Tip: Put all off your dinos on passive, then find and carry it back to your base. Make sure you have some sort off wall or cage too tame it in.

To knock it out, use a taming pit or have it Graber by 1 of ur flying dinos, and use a bow to knock it out without killing it.

Grab them with your bird and let a tribe member knock it out

Can be grapple hooked and carried to a safe area on PVE

I found one it was a male it got attacked by a Carno game crashed lucky I came back picked it up with my Griffin and dropped it in my redwood tree base tamed it cuz I know it was gonna get attacked again by a Carno.
