Dimorphodons are excellent shoulder companions that warn of nearby threats, defend you when attacked, and help protect you during exploration or cave runs. In groups, they can swarm targets with surprising damage, harass riders, and defend bases, though they are vulnerable to large area attacks. While carried, they also provide useful weight reduction and can help preserve stored food.
The best way of using the Dimorphodons is, without a joke, to leave them at home. Increase their Health and Melee Damage and they will be the perfect guards for your house/base. As soon as someone try to break in your house the Dimorphodons will start to attack the burglar/intruder. Just be sure u have more than one Dimorphodon at home! One Dimorphodon is easily killed but a hole swarm is a real Curse for every Intruder. But of course you can take Dimorphodons with u outside. They will sit on your shoulder and as soon as someone/something attacks you, they will attack and protect you.
