I tamed bout five and they are basically improved raptors with wings.why can’t I find a female though,just male then some more male

They attck things while on your shoulder

Even alone, these guys are dangerous tames. My single dimorphodon killed a low level carno with no hits. They are small and fast, making them hard to hit and allowing them to take down big enemies.

Always keep one on your shoulders on neutral. Only upgrade melee damage. If you die while on another mount the dimorph will do tons of damage even if it doesn’t kill it by itself (which it probably will)

Carry one on shoulder and when a argent picks you up you can kill the rider than the argent.

Great for defence aginst trollers whistle attack target or put them on neutral and let them eat. Also just a good first sholder pet.

Forget dilophosaurs raptors and other pack things..

Welcome dimorphs! These things are just crazy funny to use on guys with no tames just weapons and guns.

Great for killing cocky mega tribes(again if they got no tames with them because they are just imposible to hit with melee and guns so just level their damage and voalia! Free homing missiles!

Bro this creature is crazy good. I was ambushed by a pack of raptors,at least 6 of them I killed all but one. It was a lvl125. But I was banged up from the other raptors. I was one hit from dying and suddenly the raptor died and I didn't realise that the reason why I was able to kill the 5 of them so quickly and why the last one died until I saw the death messages. Bruh... my divorce was destroying them without me knowing and saved me from my final hit of the raptors and I also forgot that I kept my dimorph on my shoulder so I was quite confused till I saw the death messages and the remove from shoulder button. Guys this tames are op. But not against stegosaurus or ankylosaurus. If this was useful ^ me

One is dangerous but if you have at least four, not much can kill you

Do not make it attack a beelzebuffo or else R. I. P dimorphodon

If you want to bring these while riding a flying dino, which I highly recommend, put all point on their speed. They can easily fall behind while you sprint and because you’re in the air, there won’t be a fell behind notification, they are so small it would be impossible to find them. Their number is enough to make up for damage and health, so focus on speed.

Put high melee because they will bite enemys on your shoulder

I don’t know if this is a bug or not but in mobile, if you use a dimorphodon to attack something while you’re extremely far away, like the edge/limit of the scope that you can use thecommand “target”, it does 1000-2000k damage even if its lvl1. Works best when used at larger enemies like a rex or even a tinanosaurus since they keep doing 1000-2000k damage for each hit.

Super Useful ! If you spend time searching for high level tames/Dino wiping for higher lvl spawns. Dimorphs make it easy & save you tons of ammo! Pump melee maybe a few into health. I had 1 die after a couple Dino wipes. Destroyed Everything below Allosaurus/Rexs/Carnos/Argys/Sabers/Scorpions/ Raptors

Hands down def a good tame to have starting out, better yet! if you have a breeding pair !

Never attack them with your favorite tame i saw 4 take down a paracer

Once tamed, pump most of the points in hp. It is very fragile

Excellent for early game when you're going solo on official. Kept this trick to myself, but now that I'm retired from official, I'm sharing some of what I've learned. It's well known dimorphodons are bastards. If you tame a flock, level hardly matters, and pump speed, you're in pretty good shape against raiders. Place them along your walls, keep them fed and leveled. God save the raiders who try to break into your base, for hell hath no fury like an angry swarm of dimorphodons. They'll almost certainly die, too slow to stop the swarm, buying you time to prepare your defense, if they even try again. It's really fun to watch.

Get 2 of them female n male mate them (better if one or both lvl 80+) just continue breed them till get high lvl female mate with the high lvl mate repeat this and last thing you know you hv bunch of them now im running out of meat.. Just call my 14 pack go hunting for meat they kill bronto 6k hp lvl90 let's see.. Next target spino also dead

I have one of these guys in my House-raft (yes, that’s a thing) of whom is a male. He is white with these orangish/brownish-red wings (I can’t tell but their in the red category in terms of color) and his name is Snow. Now I’m reading most of your comments saying they are good hunters/self-defenders, but I am keeping him inside until he has the health of a Carbonemys. Then I will take him outside and test him against one and then slowly level up his damage output from there. Thanks for reading ^_^

Not ideal for mobile, as there is a tame limit they really need to remove. If this was fixed, HAVE THE DIMORPHODON RAVE!
