Reading everyone else’s I’m realising I got lucky, but I managed to tame a level ten using just two tranq arrows, soothing balm and 4x raw meat.

Farm Boas/Sarcos/Paracers on a Carno near Lower South Cave Swamp Area, jus watch out for Krampos! Breeding, requires lots of fish, cooked or raw. Fully grown they’ll eat regular meat/cooked. Watched 2, kill a Spino 😬 now I’m breeding for high lvls 😂 doubles down as a nice backpack 🎒 high melee for its size

How to tame a dimorphodon

You will need: 1X bola, 1X fists, 25X bio toxin, 12X raw meat

How to tame:

1: find a dimorphodon

2: bola the dimorphodon

3: knock it out with your fists

4: kill its buddies

5: feed it the raw meat

6: if it gets low on unconsciousness, then feed it bio toxin

7: kill anything that could mess up the tame

Just shoot him with narcotics Arrows hes pretty easy to tame.

Make sure it’s alone or u will probably die, use cross bows

it doest acctually eat raw meat, plus it took me a little long cuz my raptor went crazy and killed the unconcious dimoprhon, plus its hard for me to bola it cuz.... lets say it just (-hard to tame-) (fly so high)

Simple kibble isn't working to tame these

They can deal surprising large amount of damage to your character so I find getting a shot in with Trang’s and then running in a straight line for a few meters so you can get a straight shot while they directly at you. For me, trying to shoot these things whilst they fly around me in circles has always ended in tears

Get one male and alot of female and breed them.

These guys are perfect base defense. Put them on neutral inside your base. They attack the player on the Dino not the Dino so it should take them out fast

To tame, find one alone. Otherwise, if you attack it, others will come out and attack you, and they can be an annoyance to kill. Once you have found one, wait for it to land and bola it, making the dimorphodon immobilized. Now you can easily tranq it will arrows or darts and tame. Make sure to bring a couple narcotics or biotoxins depending on the level you are taming, because the torpor goes down fast. If you forget, quickly gather some narcoberrys from nearby bushes before you start tranqing. While it is taming, you can get some more berries if you fell what you have is insufficient. However, if you don’t do this, it will eventually it will wake up and that it, you’ll just have to repeat the process. Overall, it is a pretty easy tame.

If ur gonna tame one bring narcotics or narcoberries, their torpor drops really fast

The taming time with normal fish meat is off it takes like three minutes and 9 narcotics

I have one of these guys in my House-raft (yes, that’s a thing) of whom is a male. He is white with these orangish/brownish-red wings (I can’t tell but their in the red category in terms of color) and his name is Snow. Now I’m reading most of your comments saying they are good hunters/self-defenders, but I am keeping him inside until he has the health of a Carbonemys. Then I will take him outside and test him against one and then slowly level up his damage output from there. Thanks for reading ^_^

If you want to tame a Dimorphon, you should take some narcotics with you!
