Tips & Strategies

I laugh when I read about people freaking out over dimorphodons on mobile because they accidentally stepped on one and have 25+ of them come after them. I have stepped on these buggers so many times I lost count. However there is a way to live if you do step on one and a swarm comes for you. All you need to do is have a large such as a therizinosaurs, bronto, rex, giga, etc. Stay in one place preferably on a rock or such where you have higher ground. Then just start attacking them continuously without moving from that spot. You will begin to see their bodies shoot off like baseballs. This is the fun lovable sport called dimorph ball.

Valguero aberrant area, specifically in the radiation zone now spawns aberrant versions of these guys.
Would not recommend fighting one of these even if you only see like one of them around you once you hit it thousands come out of nowhere and murder you
player attacks one of them (rookie mistakeππ)(new player behavior πππππ)
I went to raid a base with 4 buddies, a rex, 3 carnos, and a bronto with a platform saddle and cannons. All we heard was a whistle and i swear about 50 of these little devil's swarmed the whole group, killing everyone in the group and one carno, the turrets shredded everything else, but the rex must have ran off and we never got a death message so its still out there in the jungle.
Get a C4 and attach it to one of these and then whistle attack. "Hunter killer drone deployed!"
If you go into deep water they canβt attack you!
A tip for beginners:
If you attack these guys with your dinosaur be warned...
Even during riding your Mount, they will kill you first, not your dinosaurβ¦
And they do tons of damage and are not that easy to hit with smaller dinosaurs (small hitbox)
Try to avoid them early game
What ever you do don't run up to it and punch it unlike his cousin the pteranodon he will fight back I learned the hard way I had tamed my first dino a moschops when I saw him landing on a big rock and since pteranodon don't attack when you hit them I thought I would be able to kill the dimorphodon but instead of me killing him he killed me he kept flying up biting me and flying away and so on until he ended up killing meπ
Up for the noobs to know
When in areas that have many dimorphadon remember to be careful and not to hit one by accident when fighting other creatures as you can easily be overwhelmed.your mount will not be able to save you as they deal damage directly to the rider.
DO NOT mess with these guys Iβm writing this bc I just seen a dimorph kill a Lv 140 Rex I was trying to tame so uh,yeh that that your gonna die if you hit these without a flyer or spino.
